We booked this hotel because it's 800 meters from the port and so it's convenient if you have to board the next morning also because due to the weather often departures are delayed... breakfast is not included in the price of the room.

Passing the ferry the next day...

I decided to spend a couple of nights at Springfield before catching the ferry back to the UK.  I wanted to have a quiet location and checked beforehand for a quiet room.  They suggested Room 4 and I was not disappointed.  Although the property is located on the road to the ferry terminal - the road noise was minimal.
The room was spotlessly clean and the TV and internet worked well.  I also had breakfast on one morning and this was adequate with both fresh fruit and cereal available as well as the full Irish.  
I would have no hesitation is staying again.

Nice quiet, but convenient location!

Our last night in Ireland on a cycle tour and a really good way to finish. Good welcome, with a nice porch for our bikes to snooze in.
Very impressed with the quality & comfort of the room for the price point. Even a curtained off storage/hanging area. Straightforward and comfortable decor with everything you could need.
A couple of good pubs just a few minutes walk away and didn't need the torch which came with the keys despite wandering down to explore the town overlooking the ferry terminal later on in the evening.
Obviously totally used to looking after folks on early ferries, it was absolutely no problem at all to get a cooked breakfast (plus the usual self-service extras) at 7am which took any possible stress away from trundling the kilometre or so down the road to catch the ferry.

Great accommodation at a really good price & brilliant for the ferry

Spotlessly clean , comfy beds Margaret the landlady most welcoming. It’s about a kilometre from the ferry. Stayed twice , once on arriving in Ireland and again the night before we caught the morning  ferry excellent both visits , a nice touch was the bottle of chilled water in the room . Although it’s on the main road it’s set back and surprisingly peaceful , and it was really  easy to find. Highly recommended

Very close to the ferry

A very warm welcome received on our arrival.  Very comfortable, clean and  spacious rooms.  Lounge area to relax in and a very good breakfast provided on request. 

Incredibly easy access to the ferry and a good choice of eating places within walking distance.

Great place to start and finish cycle tour

This is a well-maintained B&B, not five minutes' drive from the ferry port. The amenities are comfortable though not luxurious and it was an ideal place to stay. A pub for an evening meal was a five minute walk away.

Ideal stopover for the early morning ferry

I went to this hotel with my family to spend the night just before the ferry. The room and shower were very clean, my room was on the road but it was still very quiet. I didn't want to have breakfast but it's available very early which is very convenient for the ferry that often leaves around 8:00. So this is an address I highly recommend for the quality of accommodation at a more than affordable price! PS: The manager is very friendly, I had forgotten in the room a book that was very precious to me and he took the time to send it back to France by post.
