Visiting Dublin for England vs Ireland rugby and wanted a central hotel for the pubs. Blooms Hotel was great for the 5 of us chaps of varying ages from 30 to 60 years old. The hotel was clean, accommodating and felt very secure with card key access to the floor where our room was. Being central to the Temple Bar area we expected some noise but were surprised and pleased the sound proofing in the room was good plus we were on the 5th floor with a balcony. The staff have been very helpful and helped with some belongings left by one of us by sending them on . Overall a great weekend, in a good hotel and the best Guiness and Irish whiskey you could ask for.
