Brosnans' Dingle B&B

My husband and I stayed here during our time walking the Dingle Way. The B and B is on the outside of town- on the Dingle Way. The walk to town is about a mile but a very pleasant one along the bay. 
Camila was a lovely hostess with lots of suggestions. She even allowed us to wash our clothes and hang them on her line. Definitely above and beyond.  The view from our room overlooked a field of sheep, the Dingle Bay and the other side of the peninsula. It was truly remarkable. Our room was clean, our bed was comfortable, and we had plenty of space. The common spaces were also comfortable and welcoming.

Absolutely brilliant place to stay. Spotlessly clean and we were so well cared for. Camilla could not have been more welcoming, knowledgeable or well connected. Super comfortable bed with beautiful views. Thank you Camilla, just perfect.

My wife Alison & I had such a great couple of days in Dingle, which in no small part was due to our amazing host Camilla & her property. The view across the bay from our bedroom was breathtaking. The recommendations for things to do from Camilla were spot on. Her breakfast & warm, welcoming personality was very memorable. I had to try the porridge with Baileys Irish cream which was a real treat! We hired a car around Ireland for 17 days, but Dingle was a real highlight. Cannot recommend Dingle & Camilla highly enough.

This is my second stay at Brownes in Dingle...and there's a reason I returned. Camilla is warm, friendly, and down-to-earth, and she goes out of her way to ensure you are well looked after. She even dried my socks that were soaking wet (above and beyond)! Love the location outside of town and beautiful view of the water off in the distance. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious, and her homemade bread, scones, and muffins are wonderful. She helped me arrange a tour to Great Blasket Island which was brilliant. She has great recommendations of things to do in town and close by. Nothing is a bother for her. Can't say enough good things about the hospitality you will receive at Brownes! Would stay again and again...

We go to Ireland yearly and always to Dingle.  Camilla has a lovely view from the house front over the Dingle harbor.   Her B&B is within walking distance from Dingle and also, on the start of the Slea Head Dr.   To get you started for the day, her breakfasts are wonderful with special either cookies or muffins.  The rooms are large with plenty of space for luggage.  Camilla can suggest walks, places of interest and restaurants.  She is always very welcoming.

My prince and I were welcomed by Camilla.The breakfasts were outstanding  and very personal, Camilla cooked something different both days that we stayed there.  Her advice on where to eat and listen to great music were spot on.  Our room was immaculate and had a great view back towards Dingle and the ever changing Irish landscape.  She could not do enough for you and we would highly recommend this B&B for your stay on the Dingle Peninsula.

Camilla is a great host. Her breakfast was delicious, she made sure we were all set with  everything during our stay and she gave us tips for our long coastal drive. She spent ample time with us and her sense of humor was refreshing. I really enjoyed talking with her every morning and late afternoon. I would definitely stay here again.

Browne’s is a lovely bed and breakfast in Dingle. Exceptionally clean, convenient location just a couple minute drive or short walk to the center of town. 
But the best part - by far - was Camilla. She was an absolute delight. Quick to respond, friendly, helpful, and an excellent guide. She helped us organize our day and made several exceptional recommendations. She absolutely made our trip wonderful. Couldn’t recommend her or her establishment more. 
And the breakfasts were delicious. The best puddings we at in our two weeks in Ireland. 

What a wonderful hostess Camilla Browne is! Our stay with her was our favorite in Ireland. She is such a lovely woman; my daughter wants to go back and live with her! We called ahead the morning of our check in, and asked if she knew of anyone who could take us on a guided hike of the area, since we decided we didn't want to drive the peninsula, as we had planned. By the time we checked in, she had already contacted Kevin O'Shea of Celtic Nature Walking Tours and had us penciled in for the next day. He's another gem, by the way. Camilla had tea, coffee, cookies and a good chat for us upon check in, which we got no where else. She was SO very helpful with restaurants and pubs -- telling us where to go, and using her name got us in to very busy restaurants. She knows everyone in town, and definitely steered us in the right direction. She's a no-nonsense, warm, and genuinely kind person. We had to leave very early our last morning, so she left a wonderful picnic in a bag for our breakfast in the car on the way to the airport. We absolutely loved Camilla and her home. If you go to Dingle, stay with Camilla!

It would be difficult to overstate how wonderful our stay at Brownes was, and how profound its impact on a wonderful Ireland vacation.

The main reason: Your host Camilla, who is a lovely, generous, energetic  bundle of wisdom, plain speaking and good cheer. Her advice on live music venues (traditional Irish music in a pub will be one of our most enduring memories of the trip), distillery tours (Dingle Distillery is a short walk from the house), and even tours (at her urging, we cancelled a Ring of Kerry bus tour and drove ourselves around the Dingle peninsula instead) was always spot on. She was also hilarious and charming and really very kind.

The house is also wonderful, with many rooms looking directly onto Dingle Bay. It’s just a few minutes drive, or a hearty walk, into town. And breakfast was excellent, with a variety of savory choices, cereal and plentiful tea, coffee and juices.

We truly could not have asked for a better stay. As with all B&Bs, I particularly recommend emailing the host directly about availability.

Best View in Dingle

Stayed here for the 'Ride Dingle' event. Rooms are basic but clean & comfortable. Beautiful views from our room and the owner is bright, energetic & friendly. You can't really walk into Dingle but it's only a short car journey. Great location to head off to explore Slea head, the Conor Pass and only a short drive to view an amazing sunset overlooking 'An Fear Marbh'. Would definitely stay here again
