We stayed there for one week. It was very nice and good quality.  It is in a very nice location in Tehran. Staff were very polite and friendly.  The room service was excellent and I enjoyed the swimming pool also. 
It was worth what I paid, and I don't know why some comments were negative here. Comparing to the price it is a nice classic hotel with what you need to stay.

Hello, my friends, I have been staying at Homa Hotel in Tehran for about ten days, a hotel with beautiful and traditional Iranian architecture that gives me peace, and in the Golestan restaurant of the hotel, a variety of Iranian and European foods are served, with the best taste, this hotel is the most different hotel in my opinion. It is the level of Tehran, of course, Homa Hotel has branches in the five major cities of Iran. I really enjoyed the way the hotel staff treated me, thank you.

I stayed in Homa hotel in different seasons but in April the garden was so beautiful. 
The staff are so polite and respectful. 
The best choice for dinner can find in Homa class in top floor.
The breakfast was good but should have more options.
The room are so clean and quiet so you can have a great sleep.



I stayed at this hotel for 10 nights on a recent trip to Tehran. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful.  Most of the staff speak English so this is a great hotel for Tourists. 

My room was on the 13th floor so if you want a nice room you have to request it. The room was new, clean, the bed was comfortable and it had all the amenities you would find at a 4 star hotel in the US. The room reminded me of a room at the Marriott or Hilton.  Breakfast was included and had everything a traditional continental breakfast should have. 

It is a bit pricey if you are from Iran, but if you are traveling to Tehran and are looking for a comfortable hotel in a good location this is the spot to choose.

Rooms at opposite side of the elevators have better view towards the yard and are more quiet.
Breakfast is acceptable.

Location of the hotel is prime, the biiiig parking is the best comfort you can have in TEHRAN. The hotel is five star and gives you an impression of MARRIOTT or HYAAT kind of hotel. A comfortably sized rooms and balcony where from you can have stunning view of TEHRAN. My room had view of MILAD TOWER which made it more scenic from balcony. All the facilities and staff is good and very professional running of hotel by government of Iran. You have to walk a bit from parking but its not the hitch as you get good parking. The breakfast was good offering varieties and bakeries as well. Overall the best place to stay in TEHRAN.

Very friendly staff at the hotel. The décor in the rooms is dated, but functional. Hotel is conveniently located to shops and restaurants. Food became boring after such a long stay (3 weeks), but breakfast buffet was varied.

I visited Tehran recently for a business trip and to visit an exhibition.  I had booked through booking.net 'Homa Hotel '.Rating was 4 and half stars. This is a very old hotel but apparently renovated.  The rooms were nothing great and the bathroom flooring was fully cracked.  If one was to walk around without sleepers one hurt their feet. The reception had promised me a better room the next day but when I approached them they said they had made no such promise. 
The worst was the bed. The mattress was like a spring board.  If one person moved the other side would bounce. I stayed there for three nights but couldn't sleep peacefully for even one night.
The food was nothing much to talk about.  All the three days breakfast was consistent and there was not the slightest change. Not much for the vegetarian either.
In short would not recommend this place. The only okay thing was that it was in the city. 
Tehran is such a beautiful and clean place and I wish my accommodation could be the same

Old is not always gold

I stayed in this hotel for 3nights.They provide good service and breakfast.Rooms are clean but old and needs to be replaced with new furnitures.Specially bathrooms are disgusting.Bath tube is old and not hygenic.Also curtain is hanged to seperate bath tube while it is very dirty and inconvenient while you are taking shower.Although it has some advantages such as good breakfast ,accessibility to places and beautiful view but I will never turn back to this hotel till they renovate the bathrooms and furnitures.

Still standing...gloriously

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in June 2025. Our standard double room, number 307, was located on the third floor. It looked like it hadn’t been renovated since the hotel was originally built in 1973, back when it was part of the American Sheraton hotel group. While the upper floors and the so-called “Homa Class” rooms and suites have been renovated, half of the rooms—including all standard and regular rooms—have been completely neglected in the worst way possible.
To be fair, the price for standard rooms is about half that of the Homa Class rooms (comparable to a 3-star hotel), but honestly, the condition wasn’t even up to 2-star standards!
When you first enter, the lobby is spacious and elegant—but don’t expect a warm welcome or even a simple smile from the reception staff. It feels more like entering a Iranian government office. Then you get to the room... Are you kidding me? This is supposed to be a 5-star hotel room?
Let’s start with the worst part: the bathroom. It felt like a horror scene. The tiles were dark, chipped, and full of holes—ready to shatter with the slightest touch. Most were cracked and patched together in the ugliest way. The sink was broken and leaking water all over the floor. The faucets were covered in limescale and mineral buildup, and the bathroom lighting was very dim. Even the toilet didn’t flush properly.
The carpet was filthy. The walls and doors were damaged and cracked, with no attempt to repaint or fill the gaps. The bedside tables were old and falling apart. Lighting in the room was extremely poor. The spots where old paintings once hung were still visible, and not a single photo or framed artwork had been put up—not even a picture of Iran’s beautiful attractions. Honestly, I can’t understand how hotel management isn’t ashamed to offer this room to guests! And clearly, they don’t care about guest feedback—because dozens of reviews say the same thing on both domestic and international platforms, yet no one seems to respond or take action.
To be fair, here are a few positives so this review isn’t completely one-sided. The breakfast was good—though repetitive every day, the quality and variety were acceptable. The restaurant on the 16th floor was large and beautiful, with a nice view of the northern Tehran mountains. The room temperature was cool and comfortable, the room itself was spacious, and we appreciated the in-room safe box. Also, the bed linens and towels were clean enough.
Final advice: If, like us, you get tempted by the low price of the standard room and assume it’s just a seasonal deal due to low occupancy—don’t rush to book. Take a pause, read other guest reviews, and think twice. Unless you’re ready to pay for the Homa Class rooms, it’s better to avoid this place altogether.
