The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali 

We stayed here three nights before picking up a cruise ship in Bali. We had a room on the ground floor. The decor is muted tones and understated. The room was comfortable and we slept very well. We had a lovely balcony, which we did not use, there was a broken leg on the sofa outside. The staff are very welcoming and always smiling and helpful. The beach is lovely too and you can walk in both directions and see other hotels as well. A lovely location. You can walk to the nearby shopping centre which has some very good places to eat for both lunch and dinner and if coffee is your thing there is even a Starbucks. There is a complimentary shuttle but to and from the hotel as well if you con't want to walk in the heat. We ate lunch in the beach bar, the food was delicious and we enjoyed sitting there. We had dinner one night in the hotel when it was buffet night, but we could order from the normal menu as we couldn't do the buffet justice, too much food for us. Would stay here again if we ever come back to Bali.
