Good hotel with price/quality. (200k-300k).

Nice people who try to help even if their English is limited.

Room is small and bathroom tiny, but bed comfortable 

Hotel is close to the bus station Jombok that makes it easy to travel around Yogyakarta.


We'd selected this hotel as it is quite near to the airport along the Jogjakarta ring road; just about 15 min actually. It's a decent, clean hotel.

We had the superior king-sized bed room, which was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly. We'd ordered the breakfast with the evening staff hoping that we can save some time the next morning. Unfortunately this was not forwarded to the morning staff. Good thing I'd asked the next morning and breakfast was just a little late. The usual nasi and mee goreng, which were quite tasty.

Our room was just behind the lobby, so sometimes we could hear voices outside the room as guests passed by to go upstairs. Other than that, Sunrise is a decent hotel close to the airport.

There's a good Batak roast pork restaurant nearby if you check the TA app... it's called Tapian Nauli. Worth checking out.
