A real gem tucked away a 100 m from the Karnaprayag to Rudraprayag highway. We spent just one night as we chanced upon the place as a stopover on our journey from Jhaltola to Rishikesh..... But what an amazing place on the banks of the Alakananda. An early morning swim in the river in the midst of bird calls, homely food and the personal touch from Varun and Kavita... And we were completely sold on the place. Unfortunately we did not have time to experience rafting and kayaking .... And were convinced that we should have stayed longer. Am sure we will be back there .... Definitely the kids! Would suggest a minimum of 3 nights for anyone who is looking to be one with nature. A word of caution for senior citizens.... Since it place is a small trek from the road. Driver acco is not available on the premises, but there are multiple options close by including a gurudwara.
