The happy dervish , a sprawling boutique homestay was a mesmerising experience with full of adventurous treks ,a concoction of food items with flavoursome herbs, cute dogs who will win your heart at the site, fun filled activities for the kids and adults , karaoke and good vibes for a break from the daily routine ,this place in short is a mini world in itself consisting of scenic captures of nature's beauty... A must for people who seek peace and nature's beauty for their soul.. 👑❄

The Happy Dervish at Nathuakhan must be & has to be your next holiday destination if, spectacular views, soul cleansing fresh air, 50 shades of Green, delicious kumaoni food and a home away form home are the requisites of a memorable trip for you. Beautifully located in the heart of Kumaon hills, Nathuakhan is a village approximately 1hour 30 minutes of drive from Nainital. It is the most scenic drive I have experienced in a while.

Excellent staff always at your service, makes sure you feel at home and all your needs are taken care of whether its hunger or the stay. The owners of the property Sameer and Neha (the best hosts I have ever met) have their own garden of various herbs and you can always relish the Herbal teas and food. I am more of a Non-vegetarian and I absolutely loved the Kumaoni Butter Chicken which was my first meal at the property. Order anything out of the menu and be pleasantly surprised. 

You can trek to a stream nearby or into the village through the Jungle. There are a couple of waterfalls to visit within an hour's drive from The Happy Dervish. In case you do not want to go out, there is a pool table in the dining hall too. 

Not to forget mentioning the 3 lovely dogs. They are there to welcome you and they love to be around humans.

I am sure you will forget you have a phone (Except clicking photos) as soon as you enter their doorway. Such is the charm of this reflection of heaven on Earth, called The Happy Dervish.

To start off Duggos at this place are star of the property. Food they serve is less oily and light on stomach yet so so tasty. Property location is mesmerizing and rooms are spacious and neat and clean. I would definitely recommend Happy Dervish if anyone is planning to stay at peaceful place surrounded with nature.

Loved our stay again at my favorite place of the hills. Without a doubt for our Mountain calling, we come here for a home away from home experience. 
Food, service, staff Everything is apt and how I wish if I could stay here forever.

We checked inn today after talking to the senior manager directly, after checking inn the junior manager comes and tells us that you have a little of rs500 extra to be paid. We told them that we were offered a price lower, but then the senior manager tells us to get lost of the property. This is the kind of customer support they have. So we left the property that very time. If the owners are seeing the review please act over.
