Shangloo Group of House Boats

recently visited on 18 th May 2019. we booked all three rooms. we had a fabulous experience. house boat location is too good and food and service was beyond our expectations. Hilal Bhai who is the owner also took care of us like anything. he offered more dishes than we asked for. quality of food was amazing. recommend viewers to visit him and enjoy his hospitality. The best house boat in India till now. The house boat was very good n there service was also good n the most important thing about the house boat was the rooms n decorations of the house boat was very nice . 

Stay in Shanghloo group of House Boat at Dal Lake was wonderful. Shikara Ride in peaceful lake leading to houseboat was wonderful experience.  These houseboat is very well maintained and decorated. Room was spacious with neat and clean washrooms. Lots of roses on land area. Its type of Island and you can walk in narrow lanes for hours. Nice dinner and breakfast. One night stay in houseboat is must during Srinagar visit.

stayed in June 16 and what a experience. one most important part of Kashmir visit is to stay in houseboat.we choose to stay in this house boat and decided that next time on wards will stay in the same every time. Hilal Bhai who is the owner of this is excellent, very supportive and will advise you correctly.the quality and size of rooms is fabouls and location is road and mountains facing. my feed back will not be complete without talking about the excellent quality of food. you can ask him anything to make you want the only little disappointing point is quality of Bathrooms. however hilal Bhai assured us that he will renovate all the bathrooms in this winter.

My Friends had advised me to avoid houseboats as they are not clean , one does not get good sleep etc. but when I entered Shangloo Palace I was amazed with the houseboat , It was beautiful & clean 
we were very Happy with decorative rooms , sleep Quality was excellant & entire stay was very pleasant 
Location of the Houseboat is excellant , just opposite to it on road you have lots of food joints which provide good food at reasonable rates ( Food on houseboats is bit expensive )

Nice, Clean & Good Houseboat

Our family trip in July was truly memorable, especially the delightful experience we had on the shangloo houseboats with their stunning interiors. However, it is unfortunate to say that the service provided by Shangloo Travels left much to be desired. Both the driver and a young boy named Asef engaged in dishonest practices, constantly deceiving us. They would find amusement in taking us to shops and pressuring us into purchasing unwanted items. Even when we firmly declined, they would insist on visiting souvenir shops by parking inside factories. Moreover, they deliberately took us to places where others paid lower fares. Overall, this experience was truly disappointing, and we have decided to never stay or book their services again.

Nice Property Worst Services

We travelled to Kashmir Last year through Shangloo Travels and were very disappointed with their service in terms on service , accommodation and promises. 
They charged us heavily for all 4 and 5 stars and we were allotted all 2 and 3 star hotels, with route of travel that was not synchronised but back and forth.
In Pahalgam and Srinagar we refused to check in into the hotels initially agreed and were given a change of hotel which was equally unsatisfactory. All rooms given were with no view and areas that were frightful to even take a walk in the evening.
In the houseboat (cherry houseboat) there were leakages in their toilet which was ignored shamelessly. The house boat were situated right behind without any view.
The houseboat care taker - Mehraj was a rascal who dint serve appropriate food, never took care of the cleanliness of the rooms and charges us commission at very step. 
We went to their office to talk to Mr. Ali the owner about the raw deal given to us which was blatantly ignored and they showed us that they were powerful and well known.
We advise all further travels to avoid this Shangloo group
