OYO Flagship 1246 Raaj Residency

I will never recommend anyone to stay in Raaj Residency. It looks like a lodge. When we done checkin, I ask hotel person to change bedsheet and pillow cover which was stained very badly. Then changed both but pillow cover was tored. They didnt changed. We have booked oyo rooms, so breakfast was very limited which is not good enough for one person. Also taste was not good. Very noisy because its on the main road and also area is not good. But its very near to Chennai airport only 2kms.

I stayed in this hotel for just 9 hours and the whole experience was amazing.  As soon as i arrived at the hotel the staff welcomed with genuine smile.  He (Rajesh) was asking about my travel from Railway station to the Hotel if i had faced any difficulty.  The check-in process was very smooth.  I work for one of the best hotel in the world and i know the importance of any guests.  The rooms are spacious, neat and clean.  Overall very good experience!

Surprised!!

This hotel can also be booked under the name of "Oyo Rooms Chennai International Airport". Took me a while to figure that out, so in case you are just wondering about the same issue: they are the same place.
As for the hotel itself: we were looking for a cheap stay close to the airport in a big Indian city that doesn't see a lot of tourism in the classical sense in between flights and that's exactly what we got.
If you are looking for the same, this is an acceptable choice, if you want to stay in chennai longer I'd look somewhere else.
What's great is the owner and the staff as well as the fact that they have good WiFi and satellite TV. Also you can order cheap but tasty food through the reception.
Not so good is the fact that it's on a very busy road and therefore quite noisy. Also there is a "slum-like" place just next door, which creates quite a bad smell on the hallways if the  hotel (but not in the rooms).

OK,  for a cheap, short stay

This property is now also badger as Oyo Rooms Chennai International Airport, and we wanted to use it for a few hours between reaching Chennai and taking a flight out.

Despite mentioning that we would be arriving very early in the morning - and even specifying the time - OyoRooms messed up the reservation.

The room itself was OK, and we did not have high expectations at this price. However there were mosquitos in the room, no toilet paper was to be had or hot drinks with the breakfast that was included. The towels were clean but were white many moons ago and Thebes linen looked clean despiteblackmatk.

Day use, not a happy experience 

NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL! Deserves Zero Stars!

HORRIBLE and disgusting hotel. UNFRIENDLY, impolite, and INHUMANE staff at the reception.

I was DENIED check-in. They did NOT honor my booking through Yatra. They demanded EXTRA money from me. They do this to every one who has booked it through online channels.

I refused to pay the extra money and eventually just left the place and went to the airport.

Even though the place is near the airport, this place is not worth staying in.

The rooms very bad and stinky. The bedsheets we're dirty and stained and same was the pillow. No proper room amenities were provided. The breakfast was like just limited which is not at all sufficient for even 1 person. 
You could see heaps of garbage in the hotel. 
Had a very bad experience.
