RR Residency

First of all the Hotel staff told us that that the hotel is shut from February 2018 to June 2018 for Expansion and Renovation. We were their last customer before shut down. We stayed at the hotel in January 2018 for 3 nights. We had Deluxe double bed rooms. The hotel is very close to all good restaurants, Sightseeing spots such as Coaker's walk, Bryant park, Kodaikanal lake, Taxi stands, Bus stand & Petrol pump. The room was clean and adequately spacious. Room consisted of Flat screen TV, Satellite connection, Hair dryer, Electric kettle. On request they provided us with tea powder, sugar and cream powder. Hotel staff was polite and helpful. Restaurant was closed for renovation so cannot comment on it. We had good interactions with Hotel owner. Just one point of advice, when requesting room heater enquire about electricity usage charges as the service of room heater is free but hotel charges for electricity consumed by the heater. This is just to avoid any misunderstanding later. Overall we had a very Good experience here and would recommend to stay here on their visit to Kodaikanal.
