Been there for see Dasara Celebrations .. The location is the best .. any site seeing place is hardly less than 5kms... Parking space good enough and is secured with watchman.
Veg restaurant is excellent. Did not expect the restaurant to be serving such a good and tasty food.

Rooms is clean and as seen in oyo rooms pictures. 
Hotel staff were helpful and available required times.

Very Good Hotel and Location

This hotel was booked by 15 of us visiting Mysore for a national Ultimate Frisbee tournament. The primary reason was affordable prices. While we were in hotel for primarily to crash after tournament matches, the rooms were decent. The bathrooms were decent with troubles in water heating. The hotel staff stayed asleep till 8 AM and was a bit lackadaisical. The restaurant staff was friendly and accommodating.

All in all, if you need a affordable place with just a night's stay, this would be a good bet.

Budget experience

I had booked 2 deluxe rooms for 2 days for my family well in advance and directly from the Hotel website on 28th December, as I was traveling with senior citizens and children, and wanted a gauranteed booking and confirmation. To this effect I had even paid the booking advance online from my card as per the hotel policy - i.e. amount for Rs. 645 and got a reservation confirmation on email. On the day of arrival and check-in, i.e 30th December 2016, I called the hotel in the morning to inform in advance of my arrival in the afternoon and to keep my rooms ready. To my surprise and shock - the hotel receptionist informs rudely and curtly that the hotel is running full and that I have to look for accomodation elsewhere. On informing that I made a direct reservation with the hotel website - they come up with the most absurd claim that the booking has not happened directly with them i.e their website but with a 3rd party entity called "Simplotel". They assume that all are uneducated fools, but I am from the IT sector and I know exactly what this means. Its their hotel website thats powered and serviced by a webservices company called Simplotel - which it does so for many hotels. This is obvious from their hotel website. (see the bottom of the homepage that says powered by simplotel). This doesn't in any way absolve them of responsibility towards customers who book directly on the hotel website. This is not a case of booking from 3rd party travel websites like cleartip, OYO rooms etc.  Even before my arrival, the hotel receptionist autocratically (without my consent) cancelled my online booking. I sensed that since it was a busy year-end weekend with almost all hotels in Mysore running full and with huge demand for rooms, they didn't intend to give me the rooms as per the website advertised price, while they could easily make a killing using touts and agents by selling @ a very high price.

As it was a busy weekend in Mysore with almost all hotels running to full capacity. I was in no mood for hotel hunting, with hungry and tired kids and a senior citizen.I decided to land up @ the hotel directly and talk it out with the management. When we arrived @ the hotel with booking, they made a drama of sorts that there is some confusion that has happened, and they as a goodwill gesture will "try and accomodate" somehow. After much debate and altercation, I accepted that, as I was in no mood for hotel hunting or fighting. Finally I was checked into the 2 deluxe rooms. The room service was pathetic to say the least, with any request or order taking long hours and multiple follow-up calls. 

As my earlier booking was cancelled (by the hotel themselves) they said that the advance paid my me (645 Rs) would be refunded. I bought their word of assurance and paid the full cost for 2 rooms for 2 nights i.e 5616/- by swiping my card @ the hotel directly. 

Now after a week or 10 days when I call to ask regarding the 645/- refund that has not yet happened on my card - they come up with the same bogus story, that hotel is not responsible - please contact "Simplotel" !! 

In this day and age of internet and technology era, its indeed disgusting that people can be so blatantly unethical and dishonest - they really don't deserve to be in the customer service and hospitality industry. Now I have ample proof with me to take them to any court of law and prove my point - but then the burden of proof (or disproof to their obvious and false claim) lies with me - hence the Hotel can get away. But this bad karma is going to catchup with them and ruin them sooner / later. Mark my words !! I don't recommend anyone to have any sort of a deal with this hotel NAY cheats !!

Unscrupulus and greedy cheats of the first order

The hotel was totally disappointing. The rooms were small n not cleaned. Washrooms were not properly cleaned. One can see stains on the pot and washbasin. we dont find its location much interesting as nothing is around there. The reception staff was polite n cooperative.

Terrible experience

I was very unfortunate to have to spend 3 nights in this disgracefully filthy hotel. 
The WiFi is dreadful, virtually not worth having, i had to move rooms to try and get a better signal, had to have different passwords for each device (2) which you couldn’t use at the same time.
My room was a disgrace, everywhere and everything was dirty, it was a disgrace, I wouldn’t let my dogs sleep here. Room was not serviced at all throughout my stay, and the single grey threadbare towel provided was not changed, thankfully i had brought my own towel.
Breakfast consisted of 1 cup of coffee and a cold Massala Dosa which was rather unpleasant, all brought to your door, no restaurant.
This hotel really is a dump, i have complained to head office with no reply and no explanation or apology.
The only reason i gave it 1 star was for the guy on reception who was very helpful.
I will never use FAB hotels again.
Save your money, do NOT stay here

The WORST hotel I have ever stayed in

Good Hotel location and helpful staff is the only advantage. Rooms are average and there is no restaurant. Food will be delivered from other restaurant at heavy price once ordered. Lift is too small to be accommodated.
