Place is clean , food is good , staff is polite and views are great

We had an awesome holiday at Ladakh over the last 10 days as we visited several places of interest including the War Memorials spread across the UT. 
The Saraha at Leh was home to us as we criss crossed across Ladakh and we had a most wonderful stay at The Saraha. We had an amazing experience with an ever courteous and smiling staff making sure that our stay was as homely as possible even as we took a little time to acclimatise - high altitude posing challenges to most people visiting Leh for the first time. 
The facility itself, away from the hustle and bustle of typical holiday destinations, is equipped with all essential amenities to make the stay comfortable. The friendly staff also treated us to some excellent homely meals. 
Met with Mr Stanzin, the proprietor of the place and made a friend for life as he is such a warm hearted and wonderful person. He even went out of his way to help organise some of the itinerary for us and guided us on make the most of the visit to various places. 
Highly recommend this place for anyone who wish to have a holiday in Ladakh as you explore this amazing part of our country.

Amazing and friendly staff. They were very courteous and ensured we were very comfortable throughout our stay. They used to go an extra mile to ensure you have all you need for your comfort.

Clean and spacious rooms. 

Dinesh made us feel very welcome from our arrival. His staff were also welcoming and polite.  The room was clean and spacious with a little balcony to sit. The views of the mountains were splendid. Lovely garden to sit in, food was delicious. We were looked after exceptionally well. Dinesh and his staff are a  credit ti the hotel. Roomservice outstanding, laundry service excellent. Good location. Dinesh is so helpful and understanding of your needs. We would stay here again.

Location, rooms, mountain view + balcony, service = all 10/10. 
Dinesh, the main person there is really kind and helpful and goes out of his way to make the stay more than pleasant. He even used the words that this is home for us and not a hotel. 
So happy that we booked this place for our nights in Leh.

Stayed in this hotel thrice in our Leh trip.First time for two days just to get acclimatize for our trip, otherwise will not get the permission for visiting Nubra Valley and Pangong lake.We had wonderful experience, staffs are very good.Manager is very helpful.Only thing which they should improve is the food.Variety is there but not the taste.Highly recommended.

We booked 3 rooms for a night stay in this rather newly built hotel. The rooms allotted to us were on the 1st floor and they were big, comfortable, modern, with attached balcony and all the amenities for a luxurious stay. The food was simple but wholesome. I would definitely recommend this hotel. 

Spent 3 nights at Saraha in May 2022. This is my 2nd visit here and my experience this time was as memorable as my 1st visit!. Stanzin (owner) & team are just awesome hosts & take good care of you. Right from the rooms, food, hospitality everything is top-notch. The ambience is so pleasant & i just loved having a cup of tea sitting in their room balcony & the garden both facing the snow capped mountains! Looking forward to returning soon for my 3rd trip to Saraha & Ladakh!: )

We stayed at The Saraha during 12-15 Oct 2021 . Our stay at the hotel was awesome with Stanzin (owner) helping us out plan the itenary in advance. We decided the itenary for the trip in September 2021 and left the travel/taxi/bike arrangement with Stanzin. Our innova driver (Dorje) was great who accompanied us during leh-nubra-pangong-leh trip for three days and was very professional, seasoned driver who drove safely throughout the trip. Dinesh at the reception was equally helpful. I look forward to staying at the hotel again in future.

Location: Hotel is just 10 minutes away from leh airport and 15 minutes walk from main leh market.

Amenities: The food was delicious, room had good heating arrangement with large heating device installed in each room, good wi-fi speed, clean washroom and linens which you expect from a good stay.

It is a very customer friendly hotel. Very Clean. Rooms were large and very fine. Food was good. Breakfast was excellent and the evening dinner had a good number of choices.  The manager, Mr. Dinesh, is an excellent host and takes good care of the guests.

Awesome stay at The Saraha

I visit Leh every year and after staying in Saraha for the first time, now this is my home away from home. The host Mr. Stanzin Norboo is very welcoming & humble, always ready to help and go an extra mile to lend his hand. I have stayed in other hotels also in Leh but the size of rooms The Saraha have is unbeatable.  The food is amazing & the place is a little away from the hustle-bustle of fort road but still, all the famous eateries or the Main market are within walking distance. At last, I would like to say The Saraha is more like a home than a hotel.

Well appointed rooms, quant balcony (for us smokers - this is awesome). Friendly staff, peaceful & quiet. Good parking (for us truck owners, this is important). And most important, the owner & his family who are always around to chat, help, coordinate or simply have a cuppa tea. 

They say, people make a place it is, for me, these guys truly are Leh !!!

Our Ladakh trip was greatly enhanced by the Saraha hotel experience. Right from the booking, Stanzin, the owner, was super prompt and helpful. This was also reflected in the overall service - Dinesh at the front desk never said no to any request - be it for an early breakfast or a package of eats for our long road trip to pangong. The food was tasty and the rooms spic and span. Highly recommend.
