Completely clean rooms and following all hygiene factors. Room and house keeping service is also provided promptly. I have stayed there for 3 days and never felt i am away from my home. Viru was gracious and very helpful through out the trip.

Hampi is a place which I have been willing to visit for almost 2 years now. This December, 2019, I could finally check in at Hampi and stayed at Rashmitha Guest House for 2 days and 2 nights. I had booked well in advance in August 2019, and the place was well within my budget and an excellent option for a comfortable stay. It is a basic guest house with very neat and clean rooms and an equally clean attached bathroom. The best part is that they provided us with 24hrs running hot and cold water. 
The guest house is located only at a few minutes walking distance from the Virupaksha Temple. Mr. Viru had helped us find a reasonable eating house quite close to the guest house. He himself helps travellers to plan their trips around the place or one may plan on their own. It's not difficult to arrange tours around Hampi, since it's a well-marked tourist destination having tourists from all around the world. 
Rashmitha Guest House is definitely a good place to stay at Hampi which is reasonable, peaceful and convenient for budget-minded travellers like me.

P.S. :I would like to add here that I had come in contact with a wonderful person Mr. Nagraj, who had taken us for the tours around Hampi in his auto. He had also arranged for my visit to Aihole, Pattadakal and Badami caves on the 3rd and final day of my stay at Hampi, after which we took a KSRTC bus at 11:30 pm from Hospet and left for Chikmagalur.

My mate and I enjoyed our stay here. The room was great value, comfortable and perfectly located for all the delights of hampi. Viru - the owner - was wonderfully welcoming and helpful with booking tuk Tuks, buses and trains. He also offers a bike tour which we loved. We got to learn loads about the temples, the history of hampi and the various Hindu gods - stuff we would never have learned touring the temples on our own. The tour was fun, informative, good value for money and just the right length. Definitely check out the tour if you’re in Hampi!

I think a lot of people have high expectations when they visit Hampi.
If you are looking for a hotel, then GO to a hotel !

We booked at Rashmita's a week prior to travelling to Hampi.
Basic accommodation is provided.
Extremely clean rooms and bathrooms. We had no problem whatsoever !
Centrally located and walking distance from Virupaksha temple, Mango tree restaurant, Matanga Hill and Vijay Vittala temple ( en route to this temple is a place where you can opt for a Coracle ride.

Viru manages the place and is a very hospitable person.
Since he is a local, he provides the option of being a guide to tourists as well - a fantastic opportunity if you are spending more than 2 days at Hampi !

I would close my eyes and book at Rashmita's.
For around Rs.900/day, it is well worth it !

Clean rooms and very nice people. Only problem was the rigshaw drivers asking if you need a ride every time they saw you. Even when you were chillin in front or just walking out the door. Was quite irritating, but this most likely has nothing to do with the guest house.

Chill place with great people

Guest is good, Owner is very cooperative.
We stayed here for 3 night, we have used wifi of restaurant situated in front of guest house. Its very clean and nice place.... Even for morning and evening snacks and tea, their is one uncle just beside the place.

Price little bit higher in compare to guest houses of that place.

Good Guest House in the heart of Hampi

We stayed here for a few nights during our stay in Hampi. Viru the host is super friendly and caring, making sure we had everything we needed.

The rooms are okay with an attached bathroom. But we couldn’t use the mosquito net because it smelled strongly of dust/moth balls/nursing home! Meanwhile, the mosquito mesh in front of the windows may as well not be there, as it was half hanging off. We therefore got several bites in Hampi! But overall our stay was okay.

Would I stay here again though? Maybe, because it is so cheap and central. 

Cheap and comfy; but needs care

We stayed one night and it was the most terrible experience in India since 9 week we are traveling. Dirty, disgusting shabby and loud. One people, belonging to the owner was shouting and making noise till 2am. Then after multiple complaints, finslly he stopped and went to bed. Only to wake up before 5 and starting with hurling, spewing and shouting againg. Just stay away as far as possible from this place. It will spoil your Hampi trip.

Furthermore. There is no hot shower, they say hot water is only at the tab available. I did not try out. It may be true or not.

Check out time is at 9am not at 10am like confirmed in the booking.

No toilet paper. Not even available to buy at this place.

No mosquito net, though they show picture with mosquito net during booking processes.

No glasses in the windows. Everything is open. It's like sleeping in a tent. 

Worst experience ever

Avoid this place at all costs... Forget the rooms, food, amenities... There is every chance that the owner will not even honour your booking... I had booked a room for 2 nights thia December...the booking was confirmed.. But a week before the trip, the owner said that the room had already been booked... Apparently, the owner had rented out the room later to someone else at a higher price... That is the sort of place this is, redefining the meaning of unprofessionalism

So, my advice to all travellers... Avoid this place like the plague!
