92 reviewsWe had a great stay at Laxmi Niwas Palace.A real heritage hotel where the time seems to have stopped. Our first point of contact was Mr.Singh ,who was really warm & professional to take care of every single detail to make our stay memorable.We the group of four friends alongwith kiddos ,took two day package to relax. The 18th century building is aesthetically beautiful and rustic .Amazing old building with original wallpaintings ,with full of surprises.All the rooms are unique & well furnished traditionally.The whole place is quirky & photogenic.Staff was very friendly & helpful and I was sorry we could only stay for two nights. Kudos to the kitchen team .Food satiated our taste buds like no other.Their Masala Tea was superb.Food was awesome,awesome & awesome,no matter what you order.I prefer to stick with local cuisine,but my pals tried to explore.Everything was finger licking,desserts were excellent & portion size significant. Some rooms for improvement----WIFI connectivity [though its excellent at reception lobby] and management should arrange for driver dormitory.The service is definitely biased towards the foreign guests though the clientale is mixed. I would recommend the place looking for quick weekend escape & classic experience.
