Not perfect, but; 1. You get a small, yet fully functional kitchenette, 2. Great shower, 3. Comfy beds, and 4. No TV.
Iceland is expensive so we went 1/4 block down the street and bought some food items. While the food was expensive (more than Walmart, for sure) we made three meals saving an estimated $30.


My daughter and i spent a few days in Reykjavik this month before heading out for an island tour, and then back to Reykjavik for another few days at the end of our trip.  We stayed at Three Sisters both times, and would highly recommend it.  The rooms were small but spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the tiny kitchen was a great boon when we did not want to eat out all the time.  The location is quiet, while still being only 5-10 minutes walk from the old harbor and the main square and shopping areas.  It was a lot less expensive than staying at the area hotels.  Most important, Agust, the host, was unfailingly gracious.  He kept in close communication with us, and accommodated some of our additional requests for baggage storage and laundry - none of which were standard with the room, but he went above and beyond the call.  We would definitely stay here again if we return to Reykjavik - it was exactly our style, which is comfortable and unfussy.

Room was very nice, well cleaned, nicely decorated,beds were very comfortable, and in the little kitchen corner there was everything you may need. 
Location was good near the old harbor, and just 10 minutes walk to center, and the bus stop,  from where most the bus tours leave.

This is a fantastic spot to stay in Reykjavik. It was cozy, comfortable, and clean. It had a small kitchen with fridge, sink, coffeemaker and stove. The bathroom was small but it has what you need. It honestly looked better in person than the pictures I saw online. We had zero complaints. Agust, the host, is also great, as all the other reviews say! The parking is street parking but we never had a problem. It is a 10 minute walk to the bars in Reykjavik and basically across the street from the harbor. Highly recommend.

Our host Agust was most  congenial accommodating for check in time ( noon Saturday)  Being minutes walk from the harbour and downtown old town we needed help navigating the streets and he outlined  easy to follow routes.Our suite was a perfect size and  well laid out. A very clean private bathroom, kitchenette with all the necessities and a bed sitting room with comfortable beds that can be 2 separate  twins or close together.  We are seniors and could easily carry the luggage down a very  few steps to this  cosy nest. Excellent restaurants  within a few minutes walk. A mini mart across the road. Also close to the Marina hotel pick up spot for many of the country's bus  tour companies and at the harbour  the whale and puffin tours  Parking is limited in the town so easy to park right outside the guesthouse and walk  everywhere. Wished we could have stayed longer as we were made to feel so at home.Thanks  from Claus and Lynn

Location was great.  Central to all the tours.   Check in and out was easy.

Comfortable clean apartment with kitchenette (hob, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and utensils). Steps from the harbor and a stroll from the center. Both walkable and easy to navigate to from Keflavík in about 45 minutes. Accommodated a super early checkin with no fuss. Free on street parking was easy to find about one block away. Will be back. Recommend.

Perfect Accommodation, Perfect Location

Our host Agust was awesome, very hospitable friendly, and always very helpful! We are so happy we found and stayed at this guesthouse because it is cute, very homely with comfortable beds, all the facilities you need, and also only a few minutes walk to the city centre! Would stay here again when we come back to Iceland! 10 out of 10 service and such a great location! Thank you Agust!

Cute, Comfy and Best Location!

The property manager, Agust, went above and beyond.  We arrived in Iceland at 5:00 AM and then at  hotel approximately 6:30 AM for checkin.  I failed to properly use the door bell system to alert him as I now realize (#01) is three key strokes, not simply push the "1" key.  Though by pressing "1" illuminated a Green light, which made us think we had successfully signaled him, but this was not the case.  After standing outside for a few minutes, we called Hotel.com 800# for customer service.  Within a minute or so, CS rep called Agust, to alert him that we were at the door.  We must commend both CS rep and Agust for the patience and courtesy they demonstrated at this early hour.Additionally, I left a pill box behind with a week worth of prescription medication.  I hadn't missed it yet, as we were still in week one of our trip.  Agust contacted me through Hotel.com.  At that time we were on a tour out in the countryside but would be returning to Reykjavik a day later to pick up pill box.  Had he not found the box and contacted me, I would not have known where or when I lost it, or where to begin to find or replace them.  His courtesy and professionalism saved our trip!  Many thanks!

Lovely place easy to get access when we arrived and the host carried my bag, there are two buildings we had to get key from other building which is a stones throw from the other building, very well equipped didn’t need anything else, beds were very comfortable

Very clean and comfy 3bedroom apartment  with good views

Agust (the hotel manager)is at the hotel 24 / 7 and always will to help. We arrived at 7 in the morning and he stored our luggage and provided all kind of tips for finding breakfast and other locations around the city. The place had an eating area, fridge and microwave. We did have to walk a little to get to the place since we used Gray Line to transfer from the airport and they dropped us at their nearest pickup point.  The place is not is the heart of town.

Agust is great

We stayed for two nights in an apartment in the Three Sisters Guesthouse. It was a lovely cosy and extremely well-equipped flat. We loved that it was so close to the harbour and an easy walk to the centre of town. But the surrounding streets are quiet and residential so it felt like a welcome retreat after a long day exploring. Our room had two beds which was ideal for us as we are sisters. The kitchen/diner was small but had everything we could need. They provide oil for cooking which is useful and there is a microwave as well as conventional cooker. Really well planned space. Friendly welcome, everything clean and fresh and a nice feeling of home.
