After a month in Iceland, I was yearning for a nice quiet place to stay after a relaxing soak in the Blue Lagoon. My appointment at the spa was 9 pm and the hostess stayed up to wait for me to arrive after 11 pm. The room was clean and quiet with a lovely view. I really wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the welcoming living room and the full kitchen. The only drawback was the lack of public transportation to the Blue Lagoon and the airport. (Our hostess drove me back to the Blue Lagoon where I took the shuttle to the airport).
