The cottage was gorgeous and the lady running things was extremely kind and helpful

The cottage was perfect. Incredible glass walls to see the surrounding area, and the private hottub was amazing.

Very nice accomidations. Rustic, great views.

To our surprise, we were upgraded to a bigger cabin than we reserved. The kitchen and dinner room space was nice and we enjoyed the hot tub. The water had a particularly strong odor at this site which made showering or doing dishes quite smelly.

Excellent stay for a couple. Hot tub was amazing. Got to see the northern light from the hot tub. Great cottage, clean and fully stocked with all necessary essential. Only issue which many have commented on was the shower which leak waters underneath. Easy fix with sealant. Overall amazing stay and highly recommended.

We loved the property. The views were breathtaking and despite the extreme weather, we were always very warm & cozy. The hot tub too was outstanding. The one thing I would have fixed would be the issue with the locks not actually locking. I understand it is a rural area with little to no crime, but as a foreigner from a place that has plenty of crime, it was a bit worrisome leaving for the day’s excursions with the knowledge that the door could not properly lock.  Even still, nothing happened which is a credit to the property and the surrounding community. We would happily stay there again and I stand by my high rating.

Amazing!  Our family of 4 had an incredible time!   The cottage was absolutely perfect and well maintained.  The staff were super friendly and informative.  Cannot wait to go back!

The cottage we stayed in had two bedrooms, one double and one twin. 
A large open plan lounge and kitchen diner. 
Oven, microwave, filter coffee machine and kettle, dishwasher. 
Balcony south facing with hot tub. 
Walk in shower.
There is a small shop in reception and a large restaurant/bar area.

Only one small thing is every cottage has an outside light so if star gazing even though way from any town there is still light pollution.

Such a quiet, secluded place which a perfect stop halfway round the Golden Circle. It is so close to Geyser and Gullfoss and means you can arrive there early to beat the queues. The cottage we stayed in was well presented and the hot tub was a nice touch. The food at the onsite restaurant was great and the owner very friendly and helpful

We’ve loved our stay in the cottage! Very clean, quiet, and safe with incredible views. We have our own private hot tub, very comfortable beds, and cozy accommodation. The restaurant staff were so friendly and kind for dinner- the food was great as well. Highly recommend the slow cooked lamb sandwich. We would definitely return and recommend to friends who visit Iceland. The price of the accommodation and food is very competitive to nearby places on the Golden Circle. We are so thankful we booked this stay!

Our cabin was truly amazing, it had everything you needed and it's in a perfect location to see all the touristic attractions in Iceland arund the Golden Circle. The hot tube is just dreamy, the water is really hot and the location is superb, with wild horses in the area. It would be a great place to see the aurora (we weren't lucky though). The owner is such a friendly woman, she told us a lot about the Iceland traditions, we had a traditional meal there and she even baked my father a cake for his birthday. This to me, is going above and beyond. We loved the cabin, it had big windows and the view was so beautiful. It was really warm inside, which we loved, but you can lower the radiators or open windows if you prefer colder temp. Regarding the price - I looked a lot around before booking and this property had the best priced, so great value for money. Of course, you also need to rent a car. Thank you - we would go back anytime.

Amazing cabin with great hot tub

The cabins are generally quite reasonable, relative to the price in Iceland.
We enjoyed the stay, just one night.
We chose the place due to its proximity to the geysers and waterfalls Brúarfoss, Gullfoss, Brúarhlöð
The view is quite good, it was hard to see the glow due to the lights of the place.
The place is nicely maintained, the kitchen is fully equipped, nothing was missing for cooking dinner.
Bedrooms are small in bed size, but there is a spacious living room and dining area, so there was no problem of space to conduct oneself in the cabin.
The service is human for a change in Iceland - not with receiving a code to open a small safe with a key as it was in most of our places.
You get a key and directions to the cabin from the reception, located in the hotel restaurant.
The menu of the place looks good, but we did not eat in the restaurant.
There is a jacuzzi and shared pool, which didn't look the most inviting, but we didn't use them due to the weather.
You are asked, as in many places, to take the garbage with you and wash the dishes.
All in all, good and highly recommended service.

The property was new and in a quite area.  The views were great! However, the property was clearly not ready for us.  We were unable to set up the TV because we did not have access to the WiFi password.  We eventually found the info/welcome page on top of the kitchen cabinets which should have been placed in an area where it could easily be found.The kitchen drawers had leftover dry foods left open and other things that clearly should have been cleaned up.  There was some trash left behind from previous guest and the floor dustpan had way more than "dust" left in it.  Bottom line, our cabin was made ready for us in a rush at best and several things got missed.This is something that can easily be corrected for future guest and hopefully this is just a rare incident that we unfortunately encountered.  All in all, it was not a big deal and didn't damper this leg of our vacation.Hospitality by the owner was great and we appreciated her stories and knowledge of the area.  All in all, it is a great place to get away from the city life!

Very pleasant stay in 4-pers cottage including hottub. The cottage was very cosy, spacious and clean. Beds were good. Bathroom was quite new. Kitchen a bit dated, but everything you need is present. Very nice view from the livingroom/balcony. Hottub is delicious, we enjoyed it multiple times, watching the landscape. Breakfast can be included, they deliver at your cottage. Very good value for money!

Having our own cabin was fantastic. There was tons of space with two bedrooms and a large kitchen/living area. The bathroom was smaller with a compact shower, but the water was warm and it had a powerful spray. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows. The area was very quiet and was easy to access. Wifi was only available in certain areas of the cabin and we often had to move around to connect. That was the one improvement we would recommend. Location was very convenient for exploring the Golden Circle. We recommend this hotel.
