Abel Pension Budapest

I have never written a review before but I loved staying here so much I couldn't help not to! The atmosphere is so homey and exactly like the photos but better. The couple who run the hotel are such sweet people, and always said hello to us when we left or came back. We are American and didn't speak any Hungarian but it wasn't a problem at all. The deck in the back is just gorgeous in the mornings and I loved taking my coffee out there to say hi to the neighborhood cat that sometimes stopped by. The breakfast was worth waking up early for. My girlfriend and I are students and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice everything was for a relatively inexpensive price. The area is incedibly safe as well and pretty to walk around. Most restaurants/attractions were a 10 minute drive away and Ubers took usually 3-10 minutes to arrive. We anticipated only staying 2 nights, but after missing our flight they were so kind to respond to us quickly via email and let us come back, even though we had checked out. I just can't say enough how much I loved the charm of the house and the couple who ran the place. 11/10!
