I stayed for 6 nights with my wife and young son. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful or welcoming and were especially great with my son and everyone spoke good English and recommended day trips and helped us with transport. The room we had was large with a great bathroom, balcony and air con. Everything was clean and the free wifi was a real bonus for the price. Breakfast was included and was quite typical of Hungarian breakfasts rather than the massive continental spread that you get at some places, but it was nice. The hotel is outside the city centre by some way and we used public transport every day to get around, but as the stop is right outside the hotel this was no problem and on our arrival the gentleman on reception looked up deals for us on line and then directed us to where we could buy discount travel passes. The place looked a little dated but this added to the quaint charm for us and it was nice to stay somewhere that doesn't look like every chain hotel. It was a great bargain and we would definitely stay there again.
