Coopers is a very nice complex off Utila's bay. The one bedroom apartment I stayed in was in very nice. I think it is only fare to say that it is a rental and I did find a couple minor issues (just like home). HOWEVER, what I think is more important to add to this is that the minor issues were fixed faster than I have ever had anything fixed at U.S. Hotels. 
They have an awesome maid that changes sheets once a week, other than that you are responsible to keep the room tidy.  They have a video security system, which made me feel much more safe than at other places I stayed in my two months in Utila.  I wish I would have found this place initially.

Overall,  I would recommend this establishment to anyone!

I stayed with Delaney for about 5 days in one of the private rooms. The place was cheap and very tidy. The bathroom was definitely the cleanest I had encountered during my 3 week stay in Utila! 

I had a lot of problems with my bank card being delivered to Utila and Delaney helped with this which was great. 

I recommend Coopers Inn if you want a relaxed, quiet room during your stay! It's right on the main road but feels very hidden. 

My wife and I stayed in a one bedroom apartment at Cooper’s Inn from the middle of February to the middle of March. We found the availability through a Facebook Group and a friend of ours on the island checked it out for us in advance of our arrival. Carissa, sadly is not on the island but she left the place in the capable hands of a young lady who total shines when it comes to customer service, friendliness and a willingness to help. We paid our rent in advance to secure the property and the property manager was waiting for us with keys in hand when we arrived that morning. She walked us about the property to familiarize us with the place and made it clear if there were any questions she would do her best to help. While our Spanish language ability was weak as was her English we quickly learnt to use our smartphones and ITranslate app to assist us just as she was doing. 
You will have to pay for your own electricity and the property manager will show you where your meter is and where to find the electricity supplier. We prepaid 100 dollars US and there was still electricity credit on the meter when we left. You can’t get your money back so we simply left it so we were paying it forward to the next occupant. If you buy less and run out then it is a short walk down the street to get more. As for drinking water, the room came with a 5 gallon bottle for our use and when it ran out we simply took the empty to the front where the property manager lived and swapped it out. If she wasn’t there we simply paid her when we saw her. Less than 2 dollars US for 5 gallons. As well the property manager was very accommodating and arranged for a fresh gas tank and connection for our stove and it was all sorted out and in place the same afternoon. For laundry simply take your bag of laundry to the property manager and she will wash it for a small fee and have it back to you by the next day, 
In the last days of our stay there was an issue with the water supply that they were attempting to sort out. We only had running water for showers etc at restricted times during the day. The owner was attempting to trouble shoot the issue which appeared to be a leak in the main line which was draining the system and I am confident he would have it resolved by now. 
The apartments and rooms are in great condition, fantastic location, clean, organized and well priced for the island. The property manager was the one person who made our visit a stellar experience.

We stayed there for about a week. The place is tidy and the owner is very helpful. Our camera got stolen on Utila and the owner helped us recovering it. She used her contacts and we got the camera and the pictures back! It felt like home stay to me.

A Great Location with Phenomenal Service

Amazing owner, clean and quiet rooms

Very good place!

Stayed for 1 night before catching the ferry to Utila. The room was very clean but bare and basic floor and walls. The room was just ugly. I had a very small room with 3 beds, random sheets. Good location, though, and the manager was nice and helpful. You can do better for the price.
