When my dad and I planned to travel to Guyana after 10 years away, we were looking for a place that was comfortable and centrally located. What we got was a home away from home. El Dorado Inn provided beautiful, comfortable, and clean accommodations during our two-week stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful, being patient with us when we needed a little extra time before letting them in to service our room. The front desk staff were also super helpful in giving recommendations for restaurants, tours, and shopping. Among the hotel amenities, the daily breakfast was a highlight. Every morning at breakfast was a delight, as we were treated to delicious Guyanese food, including salt fish and bake, provisions, fried fish, and fresh fruit. Overall, the vibe of El Dorado Inn is relaxed and welcoming. A true home away from home. The hotel location is also perfect, as it’s walking distance to places like Bourda Market and St. George’s Cathedral. If you’re planning a visit to Georgetown, I’d highly recommend El Dorado Inn.
