One of those nice gems in the mountainsite that provides a warm welcome with remote exclusion.

A very nice warm hotel with several buildings perched on the mountainside. Add a large pool, gorgeous views and friendly staff and you have a winning combination. Not the place to go to if you want to do some late night clubbing, but perfect for those looking for semi remote calmess. Well recommended.

Tip, their home made feta and sausages.

We have been in this hotel for five nights six days. The room was really fantastic. The service very good. Very nice breakfast and dinner  specially taken care by the lady who owns the hotel. Excelllent view from the balcony of the room. Able to visit surrounding villages and especially the church devoted to the Holy Cross with the thirteen domes. Of course must for the Area is to visit Meteora which i about 1and half hour driving from the hotel in a fantastic enviroment. During summer this hotel should be an excellent destination for holidays.

EASTER HOLIDAYS IN KALLIROH

Such a nice place to visit! Very nice breakfast. homemade pies. Friendly service  and personnel.   There were some issues with the maintenance of the hotel some of them easy to fix some of them need serious work. The hotel seems to have been built with very good expectations but lost in the way. Anyway with good friend and good mood you can still have a nice time there because the nature and the friendly people there worth it. 

Christmas in Acheloides Hotel

On the (+) side
The rooms are spacious.
The location is great to explore the area of Aspropotamos.
The owners know the area and can provide useful information.
The view towards the surrounding woods is stunning.

On the (-) side
The place is a bit rundown and definitely needs some additional investment to refurbish it.
The quality of the food in the restaurant is unpredictable some times good, some times simply not eatable.
In the open pool of the hotel during the summer months operates a pool bar which attracts the youth of the area and plays loud music which covers all the nature sounds that one expects to hear when in a mountain.


 A bit rundown place

We chose 1 suite(in the central building with balcony with view) and 1 double room with of course difference in the price for our Christmas Holiday. When we arrived we faced a hotel that was under construction, even the yard was uncared. There were many dogs that they came to our side just the time we left the car. The whole hotel was cold. When we went to our rooms, they were in side building without view and they were just the same with no difference, all the furniture were with dust, they were cold and they weren't at all suites. We went to the reception to complaint and find a solution about the rooms, but in our way to the reception the dogs attacked us and one of them bit my aunt her leg. The people in the reception were rude and unconscious. They didn't even gave to us some water, they did not have Betadin neither some cotton. We left the same hour for the hospital which was in Trikala and the road was difficult due to the ice there was. THEY DID NOT GIVE OUR MONEY BACK!
