The Garden

I stayed here with friends 5 days at a bungalow for 4 people and one for 2 people through booking.com, after I was forced to give up the accommodation at Kyra's Paradise on the grounds that they had neighbors yard. The access road is good, the last 150m is a dried up creek valley. The bungalows are located at 150m from the beach Potistika. The beach can be reached by going back on the access road or on a beautiful trail among other properties. Potistika beach is very quiet, with clean sand and clear water. One km to the north by car and on the trail 200-300m There are 2 small wild beaches, very interesting. To the south is a large wild beach 500m away. In the village there is not shops but near the bungalows on the trail of access to the sea there is tavern with absolutely reasonable prices for Greece. Every two days comes an itinerant merchant vegetables and fruits. The bungalows are situated in a beautiful garden daycare owners. The garden is lush, is situated in a cool river valley sheltered from winds. Silence is perfect because it does not hear cars, and neighbors are away. The evening is heard in the distance the sea when agitated. For a carefree stay, must come with food and drink in the car. Last supermarket is in Argalatsi town at 10km. In studios there is one stove with two burners, fridge of medium size with freezer. There is almost everything needed in a kitchen. Also there is a very saucy barbecue with light, bench and everything necessary for a successful BBQ. The bedrooms and bathroom are tiny but very clean. I did not stay indoors than to sleep. I had 2 large terraces, one in front for recreation and another in the back for lunch and dinner. I have not used the shower in the bathroom because there is an outdoors shower. We really liked this shower with hot water directly into the sun or under the moonlight ... The hosts are elderly and do not really know English, but are very friendly and do not bother with anything, contrary, they were nice and gave us their harvest cucumbers. Internet is good, television there are only on hosts' terrace, but we did not need that. In conclusion it is a very quiet, cool place, away from the noisy world, where we felt excellent. We were glad that I was rejected by Kyra's Paradise which is situated on a hillside scorched by the sun and wind knocked, away from the beach, where it was full of tourists although it might have said that there are not accommodations that time. Greeks probably prefer to make direct accommodations that do not pay commission of 15% on booking.com. Sometimes they make trouble and thus become unreliable.
