Villa Anemomilos

Our part consisted of 2 couples - in our sixties (except one of us, fifties). We arrived late at night (1am local time) dropped off at the end of a long path into the hotel. A mini bus met us and piled our bags into the bus. We were met by John and Manos who checked us in very quickly and got us to our rooms. The room was lovely and bright with super strip lighting, bed was very comfortable. Towels were replaced every day, clean bedding always seemed to be in evidence. The Hotel grounds were spotless and very well presented with lovely trees and plants. Pool area was lovely, great small(ish) pool was great. John (the owner didn’t mind me swimming at 7am some mornings. Breakfast was in a covered annex just past the pool, Good breakfast continental style, cold meat, bread, salads, cereals, olives, cheese. fried eggs, bacon and sausages on a hot plate too! Fresh orange juice, tea, coffee and cakes completed breakfast. Staff were very attentive and nothing was anticipated trouble to them. The hotel was a bit away from the beach (half a mile or thereabouts)but there road was very flat and there was lots of shops, bars and tavernas on the way to the beach. We loved Perissa: lovely flat resort, very lovely, just busy enough, weather was great. We recommend Perissa and this hotel, if we go back to Perissa we would definitely book Anemomilos Hotel again. Footnote: on our last day John told us that we could keep on one of the rooms as long as we wanted to allow us to shower (we weren’t leaving until 9pm) which was very good of him to do (you don’t get that level of service very often). All in all a superb stay. Also there were lots of cats in Perissa, very friendly especially if you had food for them!
