Tamarix del Mar Suites

This accommodation is a little oasis of calm and tranquility. It’s a very high standard- the rooms are spacious and well equipped, and kept very clean with maid service every day. Breakfast was lovely, plentiful with lots of choice, in a cool dining room. The pool was fabulous, plenty of sun beds ( wiped down every day by staff) , pool towels provided, and umbrellas. There was high wind on a couple of occasions so the umbrellas had to be down but there is shade on your patio/balcony if you need it. The staff are incredibly hard working . There’s a comprehensive book library in reception and we also had books in our room. There’s also a play room with things for kids and several pool inflatables . Five minute walk to the promenade where there are loads of bars and restaurants and a wide beach ( black shingle) and a ferry boat to Perissa. The main bus stop is about a 15 minute walk where you can get the bus to Feria and change there to go on to Oia, which is definitely worth a visit- so beautiful. It’s also very quiet, despite the resort not being far from the airport. We did see planes coming in but the noise was really minimal . I would definitely recommend this accommodation ! We are already considering booking again for next year.
