Villa Kasteli

Santorini is a beautiful island and has so much more to offer than the picturesque but touristy towns of Fira and Oia. Of course visit those towns, but stay in Perissa! This is a cute little town offers all kinds of food, drinks, etc. in walking distance and very reasonalbly priced! As a solo traveler I could not have picked a better place to stay than Villa Kasteli. Not only is it s short walk to the beach, but this is a perfect place to meet up with other travelers over breakfast or late night drink on the patio. If you are a traveler you know how awesome it is to connect with other travels to share tips and share stories about traveling the world! Vicki makes toast & coffee in the morning and is great at making sure everyone is introduced and feels welcome. I only had 3 days on Santorini so I rented a car to see all the sights, but folks that were staying longer were using the bus to get around just fine. I stayed in a 3-bed womens room with a little balcony and it was great- clean and very reasonalby priced! Highly recommend doing the walk from Fira to Oia and seeing ancient Akrotiri during your stay in Santorini.
