I read the negative comments with sadness and I don't think those who made them were really at Giannikis. Ignore them, go and see for yourself! For us it is the perfect place in every way. We were on holiday in May and September and were equally pampered by the entire staff. The location is superb, the food is very tasty and for all tastes, cleaning is done every day. The owner is particularly kind and friendly, he even helped us with some personal problems.

Very clean room! They clean the room daily, including changing the towels. 
Close to the seaside, the pool is a big plus for the children.
Fresh food, very nice breakfast !
Friendly staff! 10 plus for Panos! He is fully dedicated to offer his guests a 5 star experience!

My first visit at this hotel was last year when I falled in love with this place. This year I returned with other friends because it is the most wonderful place that you can find on the island.The rooms are clean and big, all rooms have sea view wich is amazing. All night you can hear the waves of the sea. The beach is clean, you can find at any time a free sunbed. The pool is also very nice. About the manager, Panos, he is very nice and friendly, every time he helped us when we asked him. I don’t think that there is another place in Thassos that have all in one like this hotel: located at 10 m from beach, great pool and a very good restaurant at good prices.I will definitely come back.

Rooms were furnished well and clean, we didn´t miss anything, maybe except of faster flow of the water in the bathroom but it´s because of island conditions.
The hotel is about 20 meters from the sea, there´s beach with sand and small stones. Sea was clean with some native inhabitants. Personel was super nice to us, it´s a family hotel and they are all very helpful. The hotel is more for families with children or pairs. It´s in a quiet place apart from hotel complexes but to Limenaria it´s only 10-15 min.walk.
The food was absolutely great(if you´re looking for typical greek cuisine, if you´re not, you will :-) It tasted home-made, the cook is a mother of a son and daughter who work there too.(Try paputsakia!)

I came back last night from Giannikis Studio :) The hotel is has in my opinion one of the best beaches ..that you can have in front of a hotel ..,is quiet,elegant, the beach is very nice decoreted ,this hotel is for people with a  taste of an artist ,the room I've stayed it was a surprise ..a nice apartment ,with  2 rooms ,separated bath and balcony ..the owner Panos is very nice and all staff the  same .....the food is very good.... wi fi works very well also at the beach .....I recommend you from my heart ..for sure I will come back soon ...

Restful holiday at a very nice and quiet place

Best Beach and Place to be in Thassos !!!!

For 100 euros per night might seem kind of expensive. Yet, the apartments are nice, clean and pretty big.
The bathroom is small and the TV is antique and very small.
The view compensate for the small inconvenients. Also the pool.
The beach has good sand but in the water there are rocks which might be not very comfortable for a lot of people.
Anyway, the Tripiti Beach is 1.6 km away. 

Nice apartments for family trips

Here I found out that the DeLux class can also be economical, this lesson cost me a lot. The very arrogant and petty owner, under the guise of "I want to help you" is trying to trick you and to take your money! The DeLux room is not luxury, it is ECONOMY, it is not written on the voucher, but that is how it is at the properties. Wardrobe in the room for clothes, for 2 people you will not find! The bathroom is something like an airplane toilet. The room is very small, the bed is really big, but it takes up almost the whole room, the only window is the door to the balcony. As I saw, the kitchen doesn't look great either, a bit dirty and unhygienic.The presentation pictures on the websites are misleading, congratulations to the photographer!
I consider that I was cheated, and I lost the money and the peace of a vacation.

Beware of the DELUXE DOUBLE ROOM side sea view, room 38

Very very rude personnel, especially the owner of the hotel! The worst experience I ever had was here! I was visiting friends in the hotel and came by motorhome and stopped near by the hotel. The owner asked me to move, out of respect I moved even further and he told me that I am not welcome near by and should go. Then called the policy only to find out that he is not right! The policemen were very kind and in english explained to me that I should not worry (I know the rules and already explained them to him and asked him to read the rules and if he want to report me in the police) and wished me a good holiday in Greece. While I was there (less than 2 days) he tried everything to ruin my stay, even though I was a customer of his poor restaurant.

I advise anyone to avoid this place!

Very rude owner! Inadequate personnel in the restaurant!

Nice view but lousy employees. I orederd souvlaky for my daughter and gyros for me. The chicken in souvlaky was still in blood. The meat in my gyros was old and fried again in oil. I told them that my daughter's meat is not well done. They took it to make it again for 30 minutes. It was tha same meat with bites mark and the french fries in the same dish were cold and i think made a few hours earlier. They did't even apologized.

Worst food in Thassos

The hotel’s owner is really rude. The service is terrible. There is no food in the restaurant ( they have a menu, but most other the dishes are out of stock) so, I can’t even rate it 1 star. I don’t recommend that place. the pool is really dirdy and small.
