Griffon Kymi Hotel previously known as Valledi Village

This was the best hotel we have stayed at in Greece, and we have been to Greece 8 times. Absolutely loved everything about this hotel.

excellent hotel service and especially two gentlemen working in the evening. If I could I would stay there longer than 10 days. I definitely recommend.

The staff was excellent, the breakfast and meals at their restaurant likewise and the views from our balcony and the restaurant most pleasant, including watching the ferry come and go twice a day.The area is not so packed with tourist-oriented attractions but the local restaurants on the water's edge were also quite nice as were some of the beaches/swimming spots nearby (crystal-clear water).  Rooms a little ordinary but will be remodeled.Would definitely go back.

This is a little gem on the east coast of Evia. The hotel has new ownership and they’re doing a great job upgrading the place and making sure service is top notch. I love being able to go to a place that has rooms made to accommodate families and a play room, but isn’t a “kids hotel”. I could’ve spent days lounging by the pool and will certainly be back. Great value at a great family-run hotel!

My fiancé and I were visiting family in Kymi and rented a room for four days here. We could not say enough about the service. George the hotel owner ? Went beyond the regular service to make sure our stay was amazing. The room was spacious. The food was great. It was clean and all the employees were beyond attentive and gracious to us. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Kymi.

we had an excellent 2 days trip in Valledi hotel ,very nice view ,good walk to the centre of the town ,very nice beach in front of the hotel,very big room ,very good breakfast .i propose to everyone for an easy accomodation

Enjoyed a short stay in a very friendly, well equipped and beautiful hotel. The infinite blue view from balcony or terrace is paid off. Breakfast is great and service remarkable. Kymi could be a good basement to visit the sourounding sight- seeing and beaches.


Views are amazing. Rooms are huge, very clean and of a high quality. Service is  friendly, and very accommodating. This is exactly the type of place you want to come and stay to sample the 'real Greece' and savour the best of Greek hospitality in beautiful surroundings. Definitely worth a visit if you come to Evia.

Great place far from the crowds of Athens.

A hidden gem

Amazing service

Caught a KTEL bus from Chalkitha to Kymi town. This bus had originated in Athens where sears were allocated. We were told in Chalkitha that we could sit anywhere we found a seat which we did when the bus stopped. Five minutes or so after we sat down the lady in front told us to move as seats were taken. This she did in a very rude manner. In my limited Greek I managed to tell her that she was very rude without manners. We eventually did move however there were many that had to get off the bus because there were not enough seats. Bad management on the part of KTEL! We caught a taxi from the town to our hotel - $8. No metre. Yioryos, the manager of this family owned hotel helped carry our luggage up the 3 flights of stairs to a very spacious room with 2 balconies. The bed was super comfortable and the air conditioning good. There is a beach across the road from the beach and the many restaurants along the beach front (paralla) is a pleasant 10 minute walk. The breakfast was very good and varied, offering a seat by the pool or downstairs in the breakfast room. There are always staff to greet you in the reception area as you leave and enter the hotel. We couldn’t work out how to work the tv or the hair dryer but it didn’ worry us. No washers or tissues in bathroom and not a lot space in bathroom for toiletries. We carried our luggage back down the stairs on our departure and leisurely walked to greet our ferry bound for Alonnisos. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and in Kymi.

A cosy hotel with outdoor swimming pool overlooking the sea. There is a little beach in front of the hotel and several others in the nearby. The room for five people is with a mezzanine. the bathroom was with shower and a little window. There is a balcony facing the sea. the parking was uncomfortable, on an uphill Street. Interesting trips in proximity.
The staff is very kind. Only breakfast is available even though there are quite a lot of tavernas at walkable distance. the breakfast is sometimes flavourless. 
good relationship beetween quality and price.
