Charming , rustic apartment about 1 minute from old port and in the old town. Labyrinthine streets . The apartment smelled so clean & crisp white clean sheets & towels. Architecture reminds of northern Italy / Veneto . Nice shutters. What gives the 5 stars is Sofia , she is an angel , so caring . Beautiful homemade breakfast . It's lovely . Full of character and charm & very clean .

Eleonora is a very good place to stay in the Old town of Chania. Walkable distance to the port, church, museum and to the bus station. The room was very good  (warm in winters)  with 24hrs hot water facility, WI-fi, heater etc. Ms. Sophia was very good. Very good homemade breakfast was provided by her. Great Hospitality.

Mrs Sofia the owner is very energetic person who is running for everyone of her guests! The building is located in an excellent small road of the historic port.  The breakfast is being served by mrs Sofia  on the veranda above the building or the room. Very good breakfast homemade pastries and cheese pies. Try Kaltsounia with Mizithra!!!!!
Rooms are okay, they need some renovation in some things but you can pass the night. We think she needs someone to help her in the cleaning of rooms to have an excellent quality. 
They require taxi for airport!

This place is like a B and B. The owner Sophia brought us breakfast in our room everyday. The room was air conditioned, clean and had it's own bathroom with a shower. Sophia provided towels, but we brought extra for the beach which was 15 minutes walk away. When we first arrived, it was like a movie set. The area is so picturesque and three people offered us directions before we'd even asked. It has a real village atmosphere, people knew Sophia by name. It's two minutes from the harbor where there are great places to eat, get cocktails and get a boat to go swimming or snorkeling. There is music at night time, which we could hear faintly from our room but it stopped around 2 and when we were out it was really nice to hear. Eleonora is a lovely place to stay, the room had a double bed and a single bed. It fit three comfortably. There was a little balcony as well to dry clothes on (not all rooms have this but you can ask for it ). The doors to the balcony and bathroom were a bit fiddly but it worked fine for us. There was hot water and it was drinkable (it isn't on all island, but in Chania it was fine). There was a little kitchen sink and cupboards to put any groceries away but really Sophia's homemade breakfasts were so filling you might not need any! I'd recommend this place to anyone planning to visit Greece, it was far better than anything you'll find in Athens. It was a nice relaxed holiday and the food was unbelievable.

A great location in the old town of Chania. Close to the port (shops, restaurants, cafes, lighthouse). Our host was lovely and the included breakfast was all homemade :) 
The air-conditioner works really well! We had a cute little balcony over one of the little streets.

A really nice place to stay

Accomodation given to us was not as shown in p hotos.  We had a tiny room into which was crammed a double bed and a single  bed.  Balcony door and shutters broken, tap for hot water in tiny bathroom broken, curtain rail over single bed broken.  Very intrusive owner .  Filthy mattress on single bed.  Noisy at night.  It was a huge mistake staying here, there are plenty of other clean lovely places.  The whole place needs refurbishing and care needs to be taken to properly clean the place and make sure everything works.

Unpleasant experience

If you are looking for a central room to stay in order to explore the Old Town of Chania, this place is recommended as being distinguished for the pretty kind and smiley Mrs Sofia as well as the home made breakfast. 
The room costs 20,00€ per night for the low season.
