Assimakis Hotel

We stayed in the only two bedroomed apartment on this small complex which had its own entrance, a spacious balcony and was very roomy inside. Fresh towels and bed linen twice during the week. Could not fault the apartment at all and was very good value for money too. Some noise from the road running down the side but bearable. The owner Dina lives on-site so is on hand if needed but is also discreet. 2 mins walk to the beach, bakery, supermarket and many tavernas of Finikounda. This is an unspoilt village frequented mainly by Greeks on day trips or on holiday so genuinely 'Greek' and authentic. Not much in the way of night life although our teenage sons managed to stay out until 3am in a local bar with free shots to entice them to stay. This is a gorgeous part of Greece and with the use of a hire car visited some amazing places. Very safe too.
