It is a new apartment in a great spot looking out across the bay; however, we encountered a few issues that prevented me from giving it a higher review. It's missing a few basic necessities, such as a corkscrew, ice trays, a full-length mirror, tall tumblers, a coffee table or side tables for the sofa and a drainage tray for washed dishes. There was also no hosepipe on the patio, so we constantly dragged in sand all holiday. Several of the plug sockets did not work, and the blackout roller shutter for the patio broke on our second day there and did not get fixed, so the lamppost outside shone in through the night. Most items in the apartment were brand new. However, the coffee machine was not and needed a thorough cleaning before use to remove limescale. There was nothing in the way of welcome gifts. I'm not expecting a Harrods hamper when I arrive, but some basics like coffee, coffee filters, milk, a couple of biscuits, maybe a couple of beers or a bottle of cheap plonk might be nice. Just something...The Internet was nowhere near the speeds advertised, and we had no luck with any streaming services. The TV does not have an aerial, either, so it is essentially useless. No key for the patio was supplied, so when leaving the apartment, we had to leave the back and walk down an ugly little back street to get to the restaurants or beach rather than stroll along the lovely promenade.Once these issues are ironed out, it will become a lovely place to stay.
