Theatraki Apartments

This family owned business is the most welcoming and helpful hotel we have ever been to. The owners, Thomas and Rodia, alongside their daughters were helping the tourists that were evacuated from Kardamena resorts to a football field close to the Kos Airport. We stayed in Atlantica Micri Poli Kos (operated by Tui) and let me tell you - the lack of management from Tui’s side was unmanageable. However, the owners of this apartment hotel were bringing water and other supplies to families stranded in the middle of the night with no taxis and only the Greek military helping (case in point Tui didn’t do ANYTHING to accommodate or help their vacationers). When our toddler was crying for 3 hours straight, the only person that came up to us was Katerina (the owners daughter) and she offered to help take my family to the main city of Kos. Mind you, this was at 330in the morning. Katerina and her husband drove us to the apartments and they offered us a room WITH NO CHARGE. Once, we woke up, they offered our family breakfast. They refused to take any payment for neither the room, the drive, not the breakfast. They simply wanted to help a stranded family out with a screaming toddler. This is an unmatched level of hospitality that we have never experienced. Not only that, but the apartment hotel rooms were renovated with kitchens, and with such beautiful views and staff. The breakfast was also superb. If you are considering this place for your vacation, don’t look any further! The owners will take care of your every need❤️
