So glad that we chose Montemar for our recent stay in Arkasa. The location is great, close to a nice beach with a bar and lovely cafe. The apartments are quite simple but have everything that you need, if you get a sea view, which I think most have then the sunsets are lovely. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Probably best to hire a car to make the most of the area. Montemar has been great for a relaxing break, I hope we will return.

I just checked out after staying a week here. It is a great place to stay. Very clean and cleaner comes in everyday. The owner (« Capt. Mike ») is very friendly and helpful. Gave me tips on places to see and extended my check out time so I could have an enjoyable last day. The location is great-very quiet and less than half a km from a beautiful Sandy beach. There is a surf shop at the top of the road and restaurants nearby.

The family who owns the place is amazing, warm, helpful and at your service at any time. The rooms are clean and offer a great view of either the garden or the sea. The studios are very well located and offer easy access to the nearest beach (~150m) and Finiki which is another lovely village with amazing food and a lovely bay beach.

Captain Mike is a consummate host. This place is perfect, especially for solo travelers or couples. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. It's worth paying extra for a view of the sea. Walk down to have lunch (and dinner and breakfast) at Glaros, the restaurant by the beach. Rent a car in town and check out all the other spots around the island—you'll realize that Montemar in Arkasa, while not the most luxurious, is the best value, the best location, and the best vibes.

This is a Highly recommended  to anyone who wishes to stay, will find the owner delightful and very helpful, the beach is about 2 minutes walk and several good places to eat within short walking distance.   

We were very happy with our accomodation, that was really close to the sea. Comfortable with a nice surrounding garden. This part of the island is very windy, so the sea was ideal for wave lovers. The sea was clean and warm, healing for the skin. The beach also clean, sandy. Small shops close around.
