Olympos Archipelagos

Beautiful traditional houses in Olympos. We first visited in August 2017 and returned in August 2021. The houses are fully equipped, the WiFi works perfectly (though note that you may not have phone signal) and the view. Oh that view… breathtaking! The owner, Mrs. Evgenia is also very kind and helpful.

Hard to beat the view from the terrace! The houses have two bathroom with an excellent shower. Two double beds, one traditional downstairs, one in a separate bathroom. There is a living room with a widescreen television (works with USB-stick). A few minutes to the centre of Olymbos. All of this for 55 Euro...

This place is magical!! The scenery around the place are beautiful , and from the terrace you just can't stop looking. We had a beautiful 2 floor room, with 2 bathroom, really clean, with nice living room. Also 2 terraces. The owner is such a nice person, she gave us great suggestions for food and for Olympos. You have to stay there , Olympos is the most beautiful part of the island. Just be ready, the drive is not super easy, but it's worth it!

We truly left our heart at this amazing place! The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated with a traditional touch, the service and the people are warm and welcoming and the view is second to none! It's a bit hard to get to on a winding dirt road but the result compensates you! One of the places we will be returning!

A restful, spacious, well furnished and well finished 2 floor villa apartment and a lovely host owner - a gem on Karpathos for those who want a relaxing base to discover charming Olympos and beauty of the north.  Comfortable to sleep as tends to be much cooler at the mountain altitude of Olympos. Note last section of road to hotel is currently unpaved (this may change next year) and unlit at night but was absolutely fine to drive and the place is well worth this minor inconvenience. (that said, if you have qualms about unpaved roads then may not be for you) Altogether an exceptional experience.

This is the "one and only" accommodation that you will find in Olympos, if not the whole of north Karpathos. One of the best views you will find anywhere (not just Karpathos), huge spaces, very tastefully decorated, vast verandas and a perfect sunset viewpoint. Not recommended for anyone with mobility difficulties, not that anyone with that kind of problem will ever visit Olympos though. Having explored the whole of Karpathos, Olympos is really a must, and it makes a huge difference staying there and not just passing by using one of the boat services. As for the gravel road it stops being intimidating after you drive it a couple times. In any case it's really a 5min walk to the central square. If you're lucky and the owner is there, she will also tell you all there is to know about Olympos, and she will also show you her family house, to get a view from the inside of a typical Karpathian home.
