What acfab hotel food excellent something for everyone!!!! Chef so helpful as my partner just diagnosed celiac so very hard to know what can eat he helped him every mealtime by walking round to show what can eat!!!! Excellent x staff lovely friendly and helpful x clean hotel and nothing too much trouble x we have bin every year for 7yrs now and still the best see u all next year😎x 

We booked via TUI a week before we flew after having numerous holidays cancelled. We flew from Newcastle to Paphos. Had to wear masks which we knew about in the UK and on the plane. Uneventful flight apart from constant queuing for the toilets in the aisle by passengers as TUI
 didn’t open the front toilets!

On arrival we were told by the rep on the bus on the way to resort that Paphos 48 hours earlier had been put in a local lockdown and masks had to be worn inside all buildings and now outside. TUI knew about the situation 
and still let us travel...

On arrival at the hotel the operations manager tried to allay our concerns and asked us to sleep on it and decide on Sunday whether we wished to fly home. It was 11.30pm, we were tired after travelling since 1000am and we decided to sleep on it. We called TUI to register a complaint that evening and asked to speak to the rep in the morning. 
The next morning the rep eventually turned up and said he would record it but the flight out from Larnaca to Newcastle was full and we could possibly fly to Manchester and make our own way home.

We decided to stay and deal with TUI upon our return.

The hotel has lots of positives:

Pools;
Two large pools, little bit on the cold side but the temp here is averaging 26 so have to take that into consideration. They are clean, well kept and are surrounded by sun beds which have been appropriately social distanced. The sun beds have really comfortable pads on them which meant I didn’t have backache. You are also supplied with very long pool towels and get these from reception daily (don’t waste kilos bringing them!).
Water slides are a total of 3, one with rings, a blackhole and a racer slide that max 2 people can go on at a time. They open at 1000 and close at 1300 then reopen at 1500 until 1800. They kept the kids entertained for the first few days. There is a also a separate small splashpark for the smaller children. 
Team of life guards that look after them and did a good job.. we saw no accidents or rescues in the week we were here.

Beach;
There isn’t one outside the hotel. It’s rocks and pebbles and straight in to the sea. Nearest sandy beach is around 500m away. 
Water activities;
Go see Alex at the bottom of the hotel to the left. Great guys. Reasonable prices. We did jet skis, speedboat pulling a sofa type thing, parasailing and also a boat trip around the local coast which stopped off for snorkelling and at various sites. 

Rooms;
Our children were 11 and 12 on this trip and they didn’t sleep the first night as the ‘sofa beds’ are not beds. They are sofas with a sheet on. Our kid are 5’6 and 5’8 and they only just fit on the bed and we had to push it up to the window. We asked the manager to swap the mattresses to proper mattresses which they did the next day  without any hassle. I can say we are fussy sleepers and always struggle abroad but this is the first time that we have slept like babies! The room was modern in decoration but far too small for 4 adult sized people. Not enough storage. Hard to walk past the end of the bed. For two people it would be fine. If we had known they did interconnecting rooms we would have booked one as that way kids would have had a normal sized bed and we wouldn’t have felt we were on top of each other. The walls are thin so you can hear noise but we were given a quiet room so still slept. The balcony has a table and 2 chairs so not big enough to sit out as a family.

Food;
One of the main reasons we booked this hotel as the reviews said it had great food. It does in the main restaurant which is buffet style. You need to sanitise on entry (this needed to be more strictly enforced) and then you wear masks and gloves to help yourself to the food. It is still self service which we prefer. We always got a table. It was set with cutlery. You had to queue to get drinks as they are not self service which when it was busy took time as there wasn’t enough staff. The staff worked hard to keep it clean and free up tables quickly and I saw the managers helping serve drinks too. There is a wide selection of meat options, vegetarian options and they also catered for children. The salad selection is fantastic as are the deserts. We didn’t go hungry. Breakfast is a mixture of English cooked and usual foreign continental although pancakes and chocolate sauce went down well with my daughter. Omelettes were cooked (not to order) fresh too. 
The only negatives I would say are it all tastes great but it’s very similar fare each night. It is meant to be themed but we couldn’t tell what the theme was and this needs to be improved upon. Also in peak season it would be extremely busy as the hotel buffet restaurant especially as it was only running at 50 percent capacity whilst we were here and it was struggling. 
This hotel also offers each lunch time at the pool bar a selection of Chinese food which was also tasty and the usual burgers hotdogs (no bread?!) and spaghetti which the kids ate every day but again I found it bland and tasteless. 
There are no a la carte options which I think the hotel could offer quite easily by changing the pool bar into an a la carte restaurant in the evening. 
Also no giros which is a shame as it’s one of the reason we love Greece!
Bars; there are two in the hotel that were open one in the lobby and one by the pool which opens between 1000 and 1800. Both you had to queue at constantly. Both Tomas and Bobby did an amazing job as barmen and worked tirelessly with a smile. The hotel usually has 25 staff on rota but only had 7 during our stay. Hence if they were fully staffed there wouldn’t have been queues which we found difficult during the day having to wear masks. Menu is via an app. Local spirits included. Beer is Keo via draft or in bottles. Cocktails are good and can get Prosecco and hot drinks too. Waiters do serve at tables but very few and far between due to lack of staff and how busy it was.

Staff; the hotel is fortunate to have the staff it has. The ops manager is fantastic. The rest of the staff are polite, helpful and friendly. Working in a mask 24/7 with a smile and hello did them credit!

Cleanliness; the toilets needed to be cleaned more frequently especially the one in the lobby bar area on an evening. Otherwise the hotel is maintained and cleaned constantly and looks beautiful inside and outside. The cleaners come in daily to clean the rooms and change towels if needed.

Entertainment; hampered by Covid to be fair but needs improvement although in summer and without Covid it may be better. It starts at 1000 finishes at 1300 then restarts at 1500 and ends at 1800. Evening entertainment starts at 2100 for 1.5 hours and is a mixture of external singers/musicians and then in-house entertainment and karaoke. Nothing on a Sunday. I think it let the hotel down as there was nothing for the younger kids to do especially on an evening apart from a small park. No mini disco or dancing. No shows. No games or bingo. The kids were bored and luckily made friends to hang out with otherwise it would have ruined the evenings. 

Safe; Costa 3 euros a day to hire.

Guests; mainly British but several other nationalities also. Mixture of families, couples and a range of ages.

Location; it’s on the outskirts of Paphos Town but it’s a 30 minute walk or a 10 euro taxi ride. We went in for a curry to Jayanta and was lovely. You can walk along the coastline all the way to Paphos too. Shops and bars locally about 5-10 minute walk left from the hotel front door but lots of things remain closed due to Covid.

Covid; hand sanitizers everywhere. Masks worn by staff constantly and gloves. Gloves and masks to be worn in restaurants and inside. If you don’t have a drink in your hand or at your table outside you need a mask on. Local inspectors/police do visit in plain clothes and will hand out fines. The bar closes for last orders at 2200 as all bars/restaurants shut at 2230 and all residents need to be inside by 2300. There is a camera upon entry that registers your temperature. Staff are checked daily for symptoms and temp. Bags are taken off of you and put into a side room where they are sterilised on arrival. Screens up at reception. They are doing there best to keep guests and 
staff safe. 

Would we return... yes if we could get an interconnected room and depending on the price as a last minute cheap getaway but not at Oct half term as I prefer it much hotter. The sun sets around 1600 and it’s not warm enough to be in and out of the pool. 
However as we only travel to the same destination once (too many places to see) it won’t be anytime soon. 
Would I recommend it.. yes! We had a fantastic holiday at this hotel and we paid £579 pp which is reasonable for school holidays to a 4 star hotel and even though Covid hampered certain parts of it we still had a great time.

Stay here while i am in Delphi. Its high in the village and this gives you a fantastic view over the valley.
The rooms are basic but clean while the staff are friendly. The breakfast is basic but that's Delphi.
The restaurant Phivos is run by the same family. Good Greek food again with views to die for:-)

At the top of a very big hill, make sure youre fit. This very nice bed and breakfast provides a ideal place to stay for the visit of Delpi historical site. Close to the museum.
The hotel itself provide a small room that has two single beds for around 50 EURO per night. 
The hotel allowed us to leave our bags while we went sight seeing which was very nice. The breakfast that is included wasnt fantastic but good enough for free.
