Corfu Mare Boutique Hotel - Adults Only

We stayed her for a week following a cruise . What a beautiful hotel and grounds . Spotlessly clean and all the staff are welcoming and friendly. We upgraded our room to the 3rd floor as it was our Anniversary and we were to delighted to find wine and fruit in the room with a lovely card . My husband used the gym a few times which was on the lower ground floor and had air conditioning available Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice We had dinner one night and lunch twice - all excellent TIP there were lots of midges/ mosquitoes around the bar area outside so make sure you have Smidge or some other deterrent to hand The hotel have 3 Fiat 500 cars for hire which was very convenient and we toured the island over 2 days The hop on hop off bus goes from the port near the hotel and was well worth the €22 euros for 24 hours to see all around Corfu Town There is a donkey sanctuary in the north of the island that is well worth a visit particularly if you like donkeys and cats It takes 30 minutes to walk into Corfu Town which we did most nights and there are a variety of ways you can walk both down by the port and up through the residential areas ( more interesting in daylight but very dark at night) . Google maps was very useful for this A taxi back from the Town cost €15
