Christina's Garden

We had a very nice appartement. The gardens were beautiful and the owners of the hotel were very friendly! They work very hard to give everyone a very pleasant stay! Every morning they prepared a very tasty breakfast buffet with homemade marmelade! You can also eat very good a la carte! Every meal we ate was splendid! The hotel is situated near Petra and Moldivosch. There is a lot to see and to do! Thanks to Christina, her father, her mother, her husband and the rest of the team. Greetings from Belgium! We got a big room./1 room apartment with a small balcony. 
We had seaview and view to the pool.
The pool and the hotel was very nice and very clean. The room could have been a bit cleaner.
The food on the hotel wad good.
The family who owns the hotel ate incredible, so friendly and helpful.
The location is fine, 500 meter to the sea, but there is not much of a city. There is a busstop opposite the hotel.

The room is ok for the price. It was very clean every day we came from the beach. The bed was also ok to sleep in. The pool was just enough for the guests. The night they organized with Greek traditions and food was really nice and thoughtful. The gardens around the house are just amazing and very well taken care of. The owners were very nice, and very hard working people. The breakfast is really nice and the food generally is also very ok. I never go to the same location twice but there I would go. Thank you for the beautiful time there.

Fantastic evening at Iggys barbecue night. We were not staying at Christina’s Garden but whilst walking along the Anaxos Road we saw a sign for the barbecue, enquirer and booked ourselves in for that night. We were warmly welcomed and sat on a table with some lovely Dutch people. The food was great, Greek tradition starters, mixed meat barbecue, fries and Ice cream plus 1 drink. The entertainment and dancing were such fun. It’s family run and they were all so friendly. If you are in Anaxos go you won’t be sorry.

We have just returned from yet another fantastic 2 weeks holiday at Christina's Gardens. We are returning guest's this was our 3rd time using Christina's Gardens, and yet again everything we have experienced in the past 2 visits were in abundance, rooms spotlessly clean, food delicious, hospitality top notch, i would highly recommend the Greek BBQ it is a wonderful evening of excellent  food excellent entertainment, bearing all that in mind i would like to thank Iggy, Mama, Christina and Eli for making our 2 weeks so special. See you all again next year.

We have just come back from a week staying at the Christina Gardens and what a find it was. Absolutely perfect for Families the Hospitality was second to none. From the moment we arrived nothing was to much trouble, food amazing, Rooms were perfect for us. Friday night was Greek night and that is a excellent night thoroughly recommend it. We will most definitely be going back next year.

We've visited Anaxos several times before but this was our first stay at Christina's Gardens. We had walked past the hotel several times on previous visits and it always looked nice, so we decided to give it a try.

The hotel is family run and the whole family are very welcoming to their guests. We were made to feel like old friends from the moment we arrived. The hotel consists of the main building, pool area and then several accommodation blocks dotted around the gardens. The whole place is kept extremely clean and tidy, and the gardens are very well cared for.

The hotel is on the main road into Anaxos and only a short walk to the beach or to nearby restaurants and tavernas. It's mid-way between the two bakeries on the main road and there's also a supermarket a short distance away.

The rooms are very clean and tidy. Ours was an upstairs room with a small balcony on the rear, overlooking the beach road and the main road. The front of the room faced towards the sea and provided some amazing sunsets.

We had seen some negative reviews about Iggy, the owner of the hotel. Many people saying that he was very loud. He's actually a really great bloke if you bother to get to know him. Yes, he has a loud voice but he's a very larger than life character. We bumped into him on our second day while walking through the gardens. He sat down on a step and we chatted away for ages. He told us all about his hotel, his family and the guy that had been going there for over 50 visits. I think he was genuinely interested to hear what we thought of Anaxos and how his hotel compared to others that we had stayed at.

I would recommend trying the food at the hotel. It may not be as cheap as some of the local restaurants but by British standards, it's still great value for money. The food is all prepared by Iggy's wife and it tastes amazing. Their daughters both work in the hotel and serve in the restaurant. The food is proper traditional Greek food, prepared to traditional recipes. Give it a try.

We were so impressed by the hotel that we're already making plans to go back next summer.

We were supposed to be at our favorite apartment complex this year but were transferred to Christina's Garden because where we booked was closed. We had a warm welcome and the service was good. We had read many negative reviews due to the owner "Iggy" being too loud and often reacting angrily to his staff. They would also ignore you if you didn't eat with them. I cannot fully agree with that. When we saw them we were just greeted and several Greeks are noisy by themselves and that does not mean that they are angry or have a fight, these people have more temperament in them. We had a nice holiday here and if we would be placed here again due to circumstances we would have no problem with that. I would also book here myself if I know in advance that where we normally book cannot be booked. Super good people and very good service. For us a 10.

Christina's garden Lesbos

The hotel is okay, located in a small tourist town near the beach. This isn't my first vacation to the Greek islands. The rooms are spacious, neat, and clean, the garden is very pretty, with fresh fruit straight from the trees. The location is also convenient, close to the beach and the town center. Breakfast and dinner are very tasty, prepared with fresh Greek products, which is appreciated. Unfortunately, the negative reviews about the host only confirm this. He seems to be picky, watches people's hands, and reduces the children's portions to ensure nothing is left on their plates. I don't like throwing away food myself, but in such a situation, it's better to take leftovers to go. I also felt that the family showed more consideration for guests who bought drinks and beverages with dinner, meaning they left more money. This was the first time I'd encountered something like this. The hosts were probably overworked. In other Greek hotels I have encountered more cordiality and smiles than here, which somewhat spoils the experience of a true siga-siga. I work in hospitality industry, so guest experience is the key to make people want to return and recommend other the place.

Christina's Garden, a good stay and good service

I wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting Lesbos. This is our home away from home. I have had my annual holiday in Lesbos for over 20 years and every time I have stayed at Christina's Gardens, except once when it was full. The rooms are always clean and spacious, with good size balconies and brilliant views. The pool and bar areas are immaculate and well looked after with plenty of sunbeds. The food is brilliant with a great range of local and European dishes to accommodate every taste, Antonina is a great cook and also fantastic host along with Iggy, Christina and Ellie. They have always made me and my family feel welcome in their establishment and are like a second family to us now. The complex is conveniently located, close enough to walk to the beach yet far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet in the evening. The Greek night is the best on the island (ive been to a few over the last 20 years) and well worth going to, it's the most traditional and fun for all ages too. I cant wait to go again next year and enjoy a week or two on the beautiful island of Lesbos but I most look forward to arriving at Christina's Gardens and knowing I am in safe hands and will be well looked after throughout my stay.
