Asempa Lodge

My friend and me have been spending three nights at Clinton Lodge. And have been amazed by its friendly and welcoming people who will treat you like friends, not like clients. At least after making you pay an extra 10 GHC per night for a double room, because you are a same sex couple, what we found a little strange. After that, the experience has been wonderful. We spent hours in the pool, chatting to other guests or owners and staff on our little Veranda or all over the place. The room was very clean and big and also was the bed. They arranged a trip for us, called a taxi whenever we would need it and changed light bulbs when they decided to stop working. Breakfast was tasty, as well as the few other meals which we had during our stay. The pool is big and clean and there’s loads of place to hang around or sit and relax. You will have to take a taxi to go see places, but walking to the next bigger road takes you five minutes and the yellow yellow will get you into town for 1 GHC. We recommend this wonderful place to everyone and want to say thank you to Mohammed, his family and his manager for all the loveliness we experienced!
