The Royal German Guesthouse is managed by the owner, Ms Sina Ocran, and you feel her loving hands-on approach the moment the driver picks you up from the airport. The rooms are clean and well equipped with aircon and TV, and the bathrooms are newly installed! In addition to a well-stocked fridge, the reception sports very friendly and trained staff who make sure that you feel welcome and get access to the free wifi. Very reasonable pricing which inspires to stay longer! I loved every moment there and will make it my base for every future visit to Accra. 2 minutes off the busy Spintex Road in Accra, a mere 10km from the airport - and once you leave the airport, you will understand why the transfer sounds expensive in comparison to the room price. But save yourself the stress and book this transfer! For longer stays, you can rent a Royal German apartment, which are here on Tripadvisor too.
