4 reviewsWe stayed in the ground floor Victoria apartment which is spacious for two and exceptionally well equipped, especially the kitchen area (e.g. dishwasher, coffee machine and plenty of pots and pans for self catering). The owner met us with a warm welcome and showed us around the cosy apartment which has its own separate entrance. There was free Wi-Fi, lots of local information provided and the apartment feels very comfortable; the bathroom is very nicely done with under-floor heating and towels & robes. It's just 5-10 minutes walk to the station where you can get mainline and steam trains, and about 5 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket. Really the location could not be better! We had a great week here exploring the region on the steam trains and then retiring to this lovely cosy apartment in the evening. The apartment is right next to a road but not especially busy and we weren't disturbed by noise.
