Zum Alten Rathaus

If you decide to visit Europa-Park, this is a great choice of hotel. Its not fancy, but it is clean and affordable. It is 10 min walk to the front gate of Europa-Park and has free parking out the front. They let me keep the car there after check out so I was able to return after our last day in the park and get the car. The restaurant blow the hotel is one of the top rated restaurants in the area and we decided to have dinner there one night. The food is great and affordable, I would recommend eating there, though the food did take quite a while to come out, we were not in any rush and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast was great as well. The table was filled with breads, cheeses, meats, eggs, coffee, juice, fruit salad, spreads, etc. But for the breakfast and dinner, Gasthof Altes Rathaus did not have any gluten free alternatives other than than the schnitzel I had was made gluten free which was great. I was staying with my children and we had a room with a double bed and bunk beds, it was very clean and had everything in it we needed. I would highly recommend Gasthof Altes Rathaus for your visit to Europa-Park and not staying in expensive resort hotels that are a nightmare to deal with.
