Residenz Sonnwinkl Ferienwohnung Hoppe

I booked this top floor apartment, in a typical Bavarian house, for 5 nights, in June 2016. It consists of one bedroom (with a kingsize bed), a bathroom (with a good-size shower) and a large lounge / kitchen / diner. There is also an outside balcony. The apartment is immaculately presented, comfortable and well-equipped, with everything supplied for a great self-catering experience. There is a washing-machine and dryer, in the basement, for guest use. Heating, towels and bed linens are included. There is a 49 euro charge for cleaning but, even taking this into account, this quality rental is very reasonably priced. The property is in the centre of the picturesque village of Reit Im Winkl. It is perfectly situated for hiking and other outdoor pursuits and within reasonable driving proximity to Salzburg (1 hr ) .....Berchtesggaden (1 hr ) and Innsbruck ( 80 mins ). We had two amazing drives on the Grossglockner High Alpine Pass (90 mins) and the Rossfeld Panoramastrasse (1 hour)....both highly recommended. I booked the apartment through Booking.com and that website detailed that the property accepted Mastercard. It does not. After booking, I was contacted by the owners, asking me to pay, in advance, by bank draft. After emailing the property a couple of times, and then unsuccessfully attempting to pay through Western Union, I accepted defeat, sent the money through my bank and was charged £25 for the service.
