We had red beans with pistachio rind and potatoes, our son had a fresh snitch and I ate shells with salsa. It was very delicious. The service was very friendly, only the salad dressers to the leaf salad were necessary for us to get used to southern Germany. When asked why we were told that this was so common in the region. But we are on a journey to get to know the typical region. We are coming and looking forward to it again.

Very good food

Very friendly and friendly team, clean rooms and very quiet. Breakfast is plenty and good. They had a room with terrace, there is also a beach basket. The restaurant was also good, for the rest of the day there is a good meal across the street. Good base for trips to the North Sea islands and even the North Beach itself. Prices are completely fine.

A family hotel just behind the pond

Great rooms, fair prices and a boss who has everything under control and can't be put off. The staff don't have that peace of mind, but they're all very friendly. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat there with our friends from the North Shore because they're disabled and can't walk and the road across the bridge is too long. A minibar or at least a small refrigerator would be desirable, too.

I highly recommend it.

The hotel is located by a road separated from the marina in Southport. The rooms are beautifully maritime and furnished with wooden furniture. Apart from the a la carte restaurant, there are no other facilities in the hotel. This is also no longer necessary because the landscape on the northern coast of the peninsula invites walking or cycling.

Nice hotel in great condition

I was there for the first time in the inaugural year, and I've been there for 17 years with my wife min. A year's vacation there. We even got married on the north shore. The Heverstrom is an ideal place to relax and enjoy culinary delights.

It's been 20 years!

We just checked out after 2 nights while visiting relatives on Nordstrand. What a gem of a hotel/restaurant. The owners are very friendly and provide superior service at a rate that is unbelievably reasonable. In our rate came a full breakfast and by 'full' I mean decadent. No buffet line either -- wonderful meats, eggs to order, fresh breads, coffee, jams, etc delivered to your table.

Dinner was also excellent at their restaurant . Try the steak, curry chicken, or 'Scholle' the local favorite. 

The rooms are nice sized and clean. The tv in room number 3 is dated however...but then again when staying here you shouldn't be glued to the tv.
