when on business or on holiday you need a stopover place near Lake Constance this hotel could well be one of your best choices. Though located on a busy transit road it is almost soundproof and the tastefully decorated rooms also help to forget a stressfull journey or a long workday. The proprietors and their staff are very kind and helpful in every respect. The restaurant offers mostly pizza, the rest of the menu and the selection of affordable local wines is limited. Breakfast at one of the local bakeries turned out to be better and much cheaper than what the hotel offered, - but if you need to hit the road again quickly you may be pleased with their breakfast offer as well. If you want to spend more time on Lake Constance you will be much better off with one of the many B&Be in Hagnau.
