Disaster. We didn't feel well at all. The bedding was stained and so full of hair, the furniture would fall apart if you opened a drawer, the reception would be immediately closed again, and you had traveled and, of course, you had paid. The breakfast room was completely down and the window was so dirty that you couldn't get through. The parking lot was covered in the backyard. It didn't feel good to park your car there. There wasn't a small safe in the room either.

I'm afraid I'm not recommending it.

The hotel fulfills its purpose of simple overnight stays, but you can't expect much service here, although the Corona regulations have been relaxed for a long time. The rooms are very small and in the 3rd storey my room was unfortunately not receiving any wireless, which was a little silly for me as a business traveler who works with the laptop. Plus points are the parking space, the cleanliness of the hotel, as well as the offer of a water boiler and free coffee & tea on the room.

Hotel for business nights

Friendly reception, attentive staff, neat room. Very good breakfast - even in Corona times! The staff is very nice, friendly and hospitable. Ideal for a business overnight. Super price-performance.

Pleasant accommodation for short stays

The breafast was full of options, staff took care of everything, checking that nothing was empty. They gave us an appartment. It was quite simple as well as its decoration, but it was very clean. Enough for a weekend. The staff was very helpful and the parking is a great point.

Perfect for a weekend, perfect location and nice staff

The hotel at the Römerhof is located almost directly in the city of Bonn. The room was small but totally sufficient for my needs. The breakfast buffet, I think, was lavish and provided something for everyone. The staff were super friendly.

Small and family hotel

Convenient location to reach the center, 10 minutes walk. There is free parking in the inner courtyard and breakfast is STUPENDE. Two steps away is the walk to the reef and on the other side of the reef 10 minutes by car is the church of St. Mary and St. Clement, beautiful.

Comfortable position

From the hotel you can walk to the city centre quickly. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was really good, especially if you like to eat honey or jam. Then you have an extremely large choice. The rooms were fine.

Conveniently located

The best thing about the hotel is the top location to the old town, the city centre and the Rhine. Another plus is the free parking in a fairly large yard. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is perfectly okay without any special jamming. Newspapers (The World, General Advertisers) are out. The fan, the toilet washing and ventilation were very loud and the whole facility has clearly come in years. So I don't give a top rating, but anyone looking beyond that will find a solid, clean and recommended hotel in the best position for a few nights.

Solid accommodation in top location

This hotel is conveniently located - near the city centre, to the bus-tramway stop (Beethovenhaus) can be easily walked in 10-15 minutes. It is at the intersection of two quiet streets (on the Rømerstrasse since the end of 2017 is undergoing repair, keep in mind). The hotel has a very responsive staff. The reception mode works until 8 pm on weekdays, on weekends, I think, even less. If later settlement - you need to call on the phone, they will say the code from small box, where I want to get the keys tomorrow.

A good hotel to stay in for a couple of days.

The hotel's furnishings are definitely a bit old, but the location is really great. It's very central and the city centre can be reached on foot in 5-10 minutes. The rooms are clean and the breakfast also has everything you need.
