Stayed in the family room for one night when visiting Gori. Giorgi and Marina are warm and hospitable hosts. It felt like visiting old friends. Having spent most of my time in hostels in hotels it was delightful to be welcomed to a home. When we got there, Georgi talked us through some of the highlights and things to do in Gori. They prepared some tea and snacks, which was much needed after our trip from Tbilisi. In practical terms the place is a short walk to the city centre.

Nice guest house in the center of Gori, Georgia.
Comfortable rooms – comfortable beds, wardrobe, chairs, wifi, big and light rooms.
Suitable kitchen where you could see the big world map  
Nice bathroom, with all necessary accessories. 
Owner Teimuraz was so hospitable to all his guest – tea, coffee, jams, sweets, and pleasure talking about the city, country – history, art, culture. Whan we arrived to guest house he tld us about all details about the city and nearby territories – where we are, what we should visit, how and when we could do it, where to eat tasty. 
He helped us with the excursions to Upliszihe for good price and then with the transfer to Tbilisi. It was so kind from him.
We will come to Gori again and surely we will stay in this guest house!

I feel most fortunate to have stayed at this guesthouse late in January 2019. The hosts, Marina and George, were very welcoming and were happy to talk with me and assist me during my stay in Gori. Marina offered me homemade cake and coffee on arrival and next morning a sumptuous breakfast. Accommodation is perfectly good, and clean. Marina happily arranged a (cheap) shared vehicle to take me back to Tbilisi after my stay. I absolutely recommend staying at Levani with these kind people if you’re thinking of staying in the fascinating small city of Gori.
