We have been many times before the staff are really great and very patient with my french.  Food is superb and always seemed to blessed with the weather. Always worth trying there seafood plater. And the set menu for eur 26 it’s exceptional value 

We stumbled across this restaurant by chance and it was a really lovely find. The welcome was warm, the food was very tasty and the surroundings were very pleasant. The staff were friendly and whilst we tried our best with the language whenever it became a problem we were helped out by them speaking English. A great taste of France and we’d highly recommend it

We had been recommended this hotel and stopped for a small glass of wine . The welcome was warm, the rose wine at 2 euros for a small glass was lovely. Nice clean loos and a few marine artifacts to look at in the bar.

Stayed for one night. Great location. Great food - starter and main for 26 euros, french cuisine. Husband particularly enjoyed his mixed shellfish starter. Staff were polite and friendly. Basic room, clean and comfortable.

I decided to stay at the Hotel Normandy because I remembered having a fantastic meal some years before.  The room was basic,  what you might expect for 2 star but the photos make it look better than it is. Reasonable price for dinner, bed and breakfast but on that deal the choice of food was limited.  I did not enquire whether you could upgrade because I will eat most  things. 2 of the three courses were good.  
Surprised they did not open the wine at the table... how does one know it is actually what you ordered.  I didn't see them do it at other tables either. 
I would choose to stay somewhere else another time because this is not meeting its potential,  it is certainly well located, but the service was not good,    especially outside in the afternoon where one lad seemed to be overworked. 

Basic hotel, could be so much better. 

A catalogue of disasters!
Informed on arrival at 4.30 pm that there was no restaurant on Sunday evening!
Thrown out of bar at 6 because it was shutting.
Had to let ourselves into hotel after having to find another restaurant to eat at.
No WiFi in room
Small tv that didn’t work
Small double bed in “superior” room
No staff on site
Telephone not working
When problems raised with owner he ranted about booking.com charging 15% and that he hated Booki g.com!
He then presented me with the full bill and said you “b****y people, get F******g out”.
I was some shocked.

To add insult to injury my debit card was charged for
Total amount and Booking.com will do nothing about it.

Total shambles of a hotel which is stuck in a 1970s time warp, owned by a rude gentleman who thinks he owns The Savoy!

If I could give zero I would!   Tired rooms, unhelpful owner, shut bar and restaurant... terrible

Nice weather, teras looked promissing. You would expect that a hotel would be pleased with guests on teras.The staff was clearly not interested to provide any service. After other guest left we took that table, but where directly told that they were not serving any coffee.The result we left without getting anything. And it seemed that they did not care at all. If this is the standard for their service I rather sleep under a bridge, then to pay any penny for an outdated place like this.

Zero service

There were four of us and we stopped for a quick drink. When the waiter gave us the bill we noticed he didn't charge us for 2 drinks. We told him and he took our bill and re-wrote it. When he came back he didn't say anything...handed us the bill and that was it. No smile, no thank you..and when we left no acknowledgement from anyone in the establishment. Just very rude..would never return.

Stopped for a drink

Went there for breakfast - only coffee on offer. There were 3 of us. As there were only 2 chairs (outside table), we took an additional chair (there was no staff to assist). The owner was very rude over this. Will not go back.

Rude owner - to be avoided

We had a very bad experiece today.servicewas okbut the food and drinks wereterrible. Do not recomend. We will not come again, althoughthe locationis nice. Enough oter choices inthe area. It is a pity..
