We booked at Le Colombier for 3 nights because of the good reviews as we wasn’t disappointed the house looks stunning from the outside the location is good as it’s just outside the village of Wissant … Anne is the owner very pleasant lady who is helpful and offers a super breakfast continental style..Our room was clean and well equipped the shower was super I didn’t wanna get out every morning ..The only one thing I would say is the Tv is only in French  … The Wi-Fi is very fast … We will be coming back next year Thank you Anne 

We stayed at LeColombier on our way to Calais on 28 April after a long awaited trip to France. We were not disappointed and stayed in one of their new rooms a Comfort Double on the ground floor adjacent to the main building.  Great taste in interior and everything you need. Of course I have to mention the great breakfast Madam Anne provides with her home made preserves and cakes. She always makes you feel part of her family.  Looking forward to returning. Merci.

We stayed at Le Colombier November 21st-22nd and had the most enjoyable stay. The room was lovely and the whole place was really welcoming. The owner, Anne, is very helpful and sympathetic. Breakfast was one of the most pleasant experiences ever. The breakfast room was so cosy and the fresh bread and cheese, cake, boiled egg, jam, etc etc were so perfect that we felt like taking hours eating our breakfast. The location is perfect to explore the Caps and the surrounding towns and villages. We hope to go back there! Highly recommended!

We stayed at Le Colombier some time ago and decided to visit again recently. It was like visiting a family relative, we were made so welcome. Highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast in Wissant.   Even if you just want a few quiet days away across the channel it's the place to stay.

If you are looking for a place to stay, don't look any further.
Le colombier has it all. We stayed in the superior room. First thing you notice, is the warmth and enjoyable smell of the room. The design of the room is a proof of good taste of the owner. The bathroom is impeccable! 
After a great night on a great bed, we were welcomed to have a splendid breakfast with local products in the main room of this fermette,
while listening to some classical music and sitting next to the fire place.
The host is friendly and committed. Go there and visits the 2 caps by foot.


Recently stayed here to celebrate a Birthday. We had hired the whole place and, I must say, it is fantastic. The rooms are comfortable and decorated very nicely. 

Breakfast was again fantastic with fresh bread, croissants and homemade French Toast on offer. 

The B&B is just a short distance from some fantastic walks, attractions and the coast.

Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

We arrived on a wet, grey evening and were still able to appreciate the pretty facade of this lovely rose clad building and pigeonniere/columbier. Arrival is before midday or one may telephone Anne, the very pleasant owner,  who will verbally give entry instructions and room directions. The interior is gorgeous with an imposing staircase leading up to a seating/guest lounge area. Here are magazines, books and a minibar with price list if guests would like to take refreshments. Next to the entrance hall is the dining room with a lovely stove, white cloths on the tables and stylish furniture.
We stayed in a superior double room which was stunning. A sofa, coffee table, small flat screen TV and wonderful king size bed with smooth pristine sheets and pretty cushions ensure total comfort. Small touches like an ornate mirror, silk orchid and pretty dishes show the owner’s excellent design style. In particular the lighting is perfect with small table lamps and spotlights on the white beams as required.
The shower room had a super rainfall shower with pebble effect flooring, an antique basin surround (slightly wobbly tap), toilet, table, pretty chair, freestanding mirror and tissues, as well as soap and Yves Rocher shower gel.
A tea/coffee tray is also provided. 
Magazines and restaurant information are on the main coffee table. Everything needed is here, even welcome sweets and a jar for extras near the top of the stairs!
Anne was distressed that we had to leave early for Eurostar (17 minutes away) and forewent breakfast. Had we let her know she would have addressed this. She insisted on packing up fresh pastries, fruit and a carton of orange juice for us. Very kind.
Anne will also provide a deli platter of cheeses etc and a home made dessert for €18 if one prefers to dine at the house. Advanced booking is needed for this.
A lovely, caring host and a gorgeous room and house made us very sad to leave.

We stayed at Le Colombier in Wissant over night on our way to catch the Channel Tunnel. Our only disappointment was we could not stay longer. A most charming host, beautiful rooms.  Great breakfast. What more could you ask for. We will definitely stay again and would s Bed and Breakfast to anyone travelling in Northern France.

What a Gem

Like going home

Room was fine, & clean. We stayed overnight after a long drive enroute to Eurotunnel as I suspect a lot of folks are in this area.
The reason for the poor rating was the pillows. Rectangular - not bolster but seriously uncomfortable and all different. Obviously run as a business as a few rules and regulations visible by little signs everywhere.
Also charging extra for cold meats and eggs at breakfast seems a little steep given the price.
