We stayed overnight so that we could watch The Tour de France. Firstly the welcome of Natalie and Bruno was warm and very helpful. If you do not speak French they speak English. Our room was spotless as was the whole Hotel and it has been recently redecorated/ renovated so it was fresh , light and comfortable. The location is close to the centre of town and there is free parking outside. Breakfast was a French breakfast as you would expect, and not expensive. For us the real highlight was the friendliness of our hosts who made our visit to Champagnole to see the Tour really memorable. They gave us good advice and we even enjoyed their company as we all watched the riders pass. They gave us lots of suggestions for activities and things to do and see in the area. Highly recommended.
